    Which would tell me he’s goi g to Celtic any other team would not want him in those games but Desmond would as if he makes a contribution then it helps rover closer to getting groupstage football

    Desmond doesn’t give a * whether Celtic make the group stages or not. Why would he care about Rovers, where he has a smaller shareholding, getting there?

    Rovers opposition are hardly the ultimate test for a defender.He may look good against cork city etc but as bad as scottish football is its a step up from LoI so i guess ye cant really compare him to Taylor.

    Watched a little bit of the Shamrock game and was happy to see them do so well in the game.
    Especially Liam Scales. Looks like a very good signing to me.

    I watched the game too he played more like a LB. went about things quietly and for me didn’t particularly stand out however no howlers. Rovers had most of the play so he wasn’t really tested defensively.

    I'd take him. Seems low risk and versatile. Good to get some height in the team and looks to have a bit of toughness we can lack. I'd be delighted to see more headers like that also.

    He must be better than Taylor then it's a no brainer and the board need to get players in for Ang as things can totally turn our season if you give the manager the tools .
