All the managers throughout the years couldn't understand that this guy is not someone you convert into a CB! When he was signed, I remember reports spoke how his playing style resembles Pirlo, or in our case, Ki Sung-yeung. Nobody suggested he was good at tackling or any other defensive skill.

Thought he was good in spells, especially going forward. Some shockers also, which means he's too much of a risk. Welsh should 100% be playing, it's actually putting a black mark against Ange at this point.

 

Don’t know why he is being picked. This * should be shown the door, even if he has a good game this * has cost us when it matters.

 

If there was a major strike against Ange so far, it's his use of Bitton, why he's starting ahead of Welsh or even Murray is beyond me.

 

Nice assist, the fact he's comfortable on the ball may see him get game time under Ange.

 

Welsh deserves to be playing in front of both our CB’s at present.
