Made an immediate impact and could have had 2 goals, then completely vanished out the game.

Still hasn’t got a left foot, been saying for years if he had one he would have buried both those chances.

Great to see him back. He could well be our best player this season if he stays injury free. Will be great to see some strong competition from Abadata too.

Had his faults tonight but for someone who has been injured for most of the preceding season and only had 20 - 30 mins of pre-season I think he did really well. We can point to chance(s) missed tonight but they are also chances created. Compare that what Edouard and Ajeti did first then see who need to look at themselves is what I'd say to that.

Thought as time went on he vanished. Started great then never seen him after his couple chances. What you meant to do when your entire ethos is to start attack from the back when the backline is relegation standard though. Decent showing for no game time.

Scores that sitter and we are probably through. Was nowhere to be seen for next hour apart from being played through on goal and missing that also.

Forgivable after being out for so long and not having a preseason

Nah you should still be scoring that one or making the keeper work at least. He’s been back since March.

Different scenario this year with Abada pushing him all the way.

Forrest is * gash, he’s up there with Paddy McCourt in terms of wasted ability and fans favourite. Doesn’t offer enough, doesn’t try enough and certainly isn’t consistent enough. I’d be happy for him to be shown the door with some of the other wasters taking a wage from our club.

So he come on last night, missed an literal open goal, ran into OE then disappeared into his shell as per usual. Not exactly * world class.

Abada has come in at 19 years old, new country, new club, new culture and already proving himself. Forrest has been here since a bairn still doing the same * he’s done since he broke into the team. The only improvement he had is when BR was here, there was some positive gains with him, since then he’s regressed back to his hit, miss or injured self. * the Aussies have already sussed him after 2 games, that isn’t just people being harsh that’s not looking through green and white specs and seeing him for what he is. Bang average.

I’d check the definition of the word “literal” if I was you. He certainly never missed an open goal at any point. He missed two chances that on another day (with more game time in his legs) I’d like expect him to bury. After that he faded, but given the performance of those around him, it’s hard to really fault him.

I don’t think anyone has ever claimed he is world class either; but to pretend he has contributed significantly in his time here is farcical.

When was the last season he was fit for over 80% of the season? That’s the issue he’s either injured or out of form, then sometimes in great form. People see that and forgive misgivings.

it was easier to score that miss though thats what’s the difference of us winning or losing that game.

People defending him sound like the same ones saying Izzy was a fantastic LB. The images of the poles flicking the ball over him and ripping the * still burn my eyes.

Really disappointed in his misses last night. I know he was barely on, but that first chance was almost as golden as a penalty kick. Incredible miss. As for the second, he should again be burying it considering he's beyond the defence. Not to mention the one where he took far too many touches after darting into the box and then ran into Edouard. Had to hit that one earlier. Forrest can be so * class but equally so * frustrating.

So you admit he has had great form but has contributed nothing? At least he’s more consistent than yourself.

At what point did I say he contributed nothing in his career?
