The special mention to John Kennedy tells me he’s here to stay and ajers been asked to get that in there.

 

Why would he do that if he’s spent the last 5 years failing to be coached by him and resenting his presence like some would have you believe?

I think the guy who’s helped mentor him from a young CB into a very good player is getting the praise he deserves.

 

Good luck to him! Hope he does well down there and gets a move to a bigger club.

 

All the best to him, done very well for us, and there’s a lot of potential for him to improve.

Hope Everton or West Ham or some other daft * signs him for £80million in January.

 

He has been great for us and I always liked him. I think if he just got his move without going through the press it would have been a much better ending for him.

Having said that we will probably all forget that over time but we'll always remember him as part of our quadruple treble success.

Going against the grain here... he did train him for about 6 years so it would be rude not to thank him for showing him how not to deal with crosses.

 

Reading between the lines Ajer is * at the backlash from the fans and his praising Kennedy because we don't want him at the club. I may have missed it but didn't see a "thank you" to the fans in that statement.

I hope he, as with any other of our players that haven't been arses while here, goes on to have a good career wherever he ends up. It reflects well on us as a selling club, meaning we can charge higher fees down the line, and we should get an extra chunk of change out the deal if he does get a good move later on.

 

It's just sad to see players like him leave.

Only criticism I have of him is he can't or probably refuses to, grow a beard.

Aye, I quite like their manager anaw. He's quite down to earth and plays football the right way. Excited to see how he gets on even though I don't watch the premier league in any way shape or form

 

Will be interesting to see where they play him. If he was still at Celtic, would love to have given him a season at RB.
