Nope, not agreeing to that... They would have won the final if they'd not used all of their leeway in the league to stay in contention with us, by postponing every match under the sun early in the year, until the backlog finally caught up with them and they ran out of steam. They pulled away from us when we played a game every 3 days for months on end and we thrashed them when they had to do the same. Their hubris that the SPFL/SFA would just let them keep doing that cost them...

He didn’t know how to improve the fitness though, the second season was the most unfit Celtic team I’ve ever witnessed. Having them on a keto diet is insane. His sports science team were a husband and wife health guru. Guy never had it in him to succeed here.

He won 5 trophies to Gerrard’s one in that time :56:

He wasn’t good enough for us but that’s the levels we operate on and they do.

    Inspired by the above.

We are posting on an internet forum. Demanding responses come with an Appendix of citations and explicit quotes and your argument is well formed and cogent is likely to fail.

Likewise expecting grown men (in the main) to apologise for an opinion they hold or a misunderstanding in the back and forth with someone with a contrary opinion is doomed to failure.

All opinions are valid, but some are certainly stupid.

That Celtic right now are a * shambles! Something defo going on in the background that none of us know about. The regression we have went through is baffling!

Because he walked into the most dominant domestic side the country has ever seen.

He took us so far backwards we’re now playing catch-up to get to their ‘level’.

We were a lot better in the 9 in the row season than we were the 8 season. And he won 5 trophies.

He wasn’t good enough but that doesn’t just happen by accident.

It’s not an accident. They were won despite him being manager because Rodgers had took them so far ahead of the rest of the country.

The extended COVID break reset everything in Scottish football. It washed away everything Rodgers had done with the players and the Huns got rid of everything from the Caixinha, Warburton etc. Era.

When Lennon was left to go and coach the team from scratch he was shown up.

I know you’re his biggest fan ever but he was a complete car crash and it’s not an ‘accident’ that last season went how it did.

    A complete chancer.

It’s not an accident last year either but trying to take away anything he’s done for us is just not wanting to admit credit when it’s due.

I just find it funny that you think the ghost of Rodgers was the one that had them playing better in our 9 in a row season, than we were in our 7th or 8th.

Barkas will come good and by the end of his time with us the north stand will be renamed The Barkers Stand

Too many Celtic fans are comfortable in misery, brighten up FFS this significantly far from being the worst situation in our history

Spot on. Doesnt mean anything if we are going to put 5 past Hamilton and the likes and then get embarrassed in europe because we cant defend.

I think Guidettis career since us, has vindicated the decision not to sign him.

heavily disagree re: strachan. Nakamura was a different class and there were a few players who chipped in with vital contributions at different times like Venegoor, Robson, Hartley etc. I think you are way off with that one.

That will change when we hit a bit of form. It always seems worse in a bad spell but good form attracts interest
