    Thought this window would be different. Thought there would be an influx of players. Deals being done left right and centre. Nup 1st of July thread bare squad, clock ticking. Same auld same auld.

    If there was a raft of talent from the other side of the world coming then surely things would be moving especially with quarantine issues and work permits needing sorted.

    Ange has no chance would need 10 windows at this pace.

    I think it's pretty obvious no-one will be coming from outside the UK/Europe at this late stage. We'd already know about it if someone was being chased who needed quarantine.

    With us being linked to Ko Itakura at Groningen hopefully someone has noticed their left back Gabriel Gumundsson as he is exactly what we need for an attacking full back. Defensively he is reasonably solid, he is very fast, about 6ft, has good delivery and a good dribbler. Put him in an offensive team and he will create a lot of chances for forwards and probably chip in with a few goals himself.

    He’s also only 22 so would have a good sell on and probably cost £3-4m.

    Pretty sad watching someone so easily attainable for us when our only option is Greg Taylor..

    This guy is quick. Strong. Tall. Attacking. Can beat a man. Can cross. Can bully a winger. Looks to have some engine..

    We've got a guy who's tiny. Weak. Slow. Can't beat a man. Can barely pick a man out. Blows out his * by half hour. Gets bullied..

    It's painful..

    Can't possibly be the case that no business is being done...

    If there are no decent signings by Monday at the latest it's looking very grim. I have confidence in Ange to get the best out of everyone already there (especially youth) but to bring in no-one of quality is * pathetic.

    Robin Quaison available on a free, Swedish International, played in the bundesliga for years with mainz plays pretty much everywhere but primarily.left winger or second striker. Would be a Great fit, only 27 as well

    Can play cb or rb , 6ft 2 and looks a very athletic ball playing cb , would be fine with this and maybe shaw has put in a word , and if the mentioned clubs were indeed after him then must defo have something about him
