I'm not going to lie, this is * depressing. Not the fact that it isn't going to be Howe no....* that.....no * is bigger than the club. But the mere fact that Ange (not even going to attempt the surname) is the new favourite. Absolutely * shocking.

I had never heard of Post Angelou until today, never mind known anything about his football. But after watching a few interviews with him, well, I still don't know anything about him as a manager, but my favourite film is Chopper with Eric Bana and he sounds just like him so he has my vote.

Some people trying to even consider this as a serious proposition that this Australian * could be our manager needs to have a serious word with themselves.

Just caught up with last 15 pages or so and was genuinely howling at some of the comments. Too many to list but Prof had a few belters. :56:
I'm very much at the 'laugh or cry' stage, and it's laughing for me. * me, what a joke this is.

There is no one in front, it's Row A.

In the event of falling in front, the outcome will probably be death or a right sore yin.

We scored a goal against St Johnstone were they didn't touch the ball for about five minutes ha..

That's a myth about teams closing us down in Scotland.. we have about 70% possession every * game where teams sit off us

I'm not saying this guy should get the gig based on that goal.. I'm 100% against it..but its a decent goal lads

    Interesting reading.

I like Ange as a manager, having watched many of his teams play. Tactically clever and ruthless.

Given the chance, I suspect he'd take a meat cleaver to the squad. I wouldn't worry he'd be stacking it with Japanese or Australian up and coming talent; he is ruthless enough to want to do well for himself first and foremost.

Very attack minded, and loves his players to be very fit (unlucky Tommy Rogic).

Not very media friendly, and from memory is not one to get too friendly with players.

If appointed manager, I think Celtic would do well under him.

Are there better managers out there? Undoubtedly; but you can only take what is on offer.

For some context, and having regard to the last few managers, I think he is certainly a step up from Lennon and Deila. Unquestionably, he doesn't have the pedigree of Rodgers.

His current club is in 4th, but has 4 games in hand on second place and only 5 points behind. The J-League isn't too shabby (I'd prefer a player playing day-in day-out in that league than in Scotland - ouch, that'll upset some).

I consider Ange largely uncompromising; negotiations with Lawwell would be interesting.

What are you watching? The opposition literally have four players spread across the 18 yard line, chasing their defenders all over the place while they just ping the ball all over the shop.

    Cracking goal.
