Me: I'm here to get his stitches out
    Vet: What stitches ?

Sneaky * had nibbled them out himself.

Bailey is 7 1/2 months old now. 30kg & 27inches height to his withers. Going to be a big boy. Was at the local dog park for a bit of socialising. Looks like he loves the ladies already even though she looks terrified :56:

Ahh ok. Same dog in each of the pics in the post. We originally got bailey under the possible pretence of a full German shepherd. There are similar looking full breed GSD's that have seen online but we think he maybe mixed with a bigger breed as his growth sizes has suggested. When i googled newfoundland cross GSD i got this picture below and laughed at the uncanny resemblance.... if he is this mix breed then we definitely got a big boy on our hands! german-shepherd-cross-newfoundland-557351ca0ce30.jpeg

If any of you experienced dog enthusiasts on here have any ideas of his breeding then please feel free to suggest. Was looking at these dna testing kits just for curiosity but not bothered if he isnt full GSD. He part of the family now anyway :50:

Awesome, yes I can see him much better in this pic, at first I thought due to his size and especially colouring with the Black, Tan and White which is the same as the Bernese Mountain Dog that indeed this is what he was, but from this pic you can see he has a much different shape of head and mouth to the Bernese, he deffi looks like a German Shepherd for sure, he's a cracker though. I was drawn to him because I love the giant breeds I have a Pyrenean Mountain Dog myself and have had Pyreneans for over 24 years.
