    You have to hope it’s just his body growing and he’ll eventually stop getting injuries but moving to a more physical league, with a manager who runs his teams into the ground could end in disaster.

    I actually think he’s a better prospect than the likes of Upamecano and de Ligt but he’s just never fit.

    Hansi Flick has confirmed he’s leaving Bayern at the end of the season. Taking over the national team, by all accounts.

    Nagelsmann is Bayern’s first choice to replace him.

    Looks like Hamburg are going to do a repeat of last season and completely implode at the crucial stage of the season. A few weeks ago they looked a dead cert for automatic promotion (finishing first, into the bargain), but now look like they might not even finish third to make the play-offs.

    Btw, is there a negative history between Celtic and Hamburg? I’m sure I read something along those lines a few years ago. Can someone enlighten me?

    Celtic and St Pauli have a good relationship (well, the supporters do anyway). So obviously the huns latched on to Hamburg.

    When we played Hamburg in the EL years ago, their fans had a union jack display with “no surrender” under it.

    Dortmund 1-0 up against Leipzig in the Pokal final. Great goal from Sancho.

    Every time I watch Dortmund, Emre Can sticks out like a sore thumb, for all the wrong reasons. The guy is rotten at this level.
