I’m on Thomas, Spieth, Rahm or Cameron Smith to win at 3/1 .. also backed Mickelson to make the cut at 4/5 to recoup the stakes hopefully.

Good to see some spectators back at the Masters. Hoping to see a decent tournament this week.

Some score for Rose, mind you he's more than capable of going +7 in next round.

Like the bloke just said on tele, that round of rose was as good as he did yesterday. Like dbhoy72 said that could have been 7 over today with the wheels coming off.

Fancied Spieth even before he won in Texas last week. He has been showing signs of getting back to somewhere near his best for a good few weeks now. Still looks a bit uncomfortable with the driver in his hand, but if he can get the putter working then he will not be far away come Sunday I don't think.

That Depeche Mode when we score!!
Watching Sandy Lyle not being able to get on Par 5 holes in 2 is hard to take in,even though it is realistic. In his heyday with the Clubs of his time he would do this in style. If he was around now in his pomp,i cannot imagine his natural, yes natural power.

Finau and Thomas getting a groove on.

I expect Casey and Schauffele to do something decent in these later tee times.

Buckled up here for another night of it :60:

McIlroy looking like he will miss the cut. For the ability he has, he has underachieved big time in terms of major wins. He could and perhaps should have been someone who dominated the game, but the move away from Titelist definitely had a negative impact. He still went on to win majors after that, but had he stayed with Titelist, I think he would have a lot more major wins to his name. His bank account will look great, but it doesn't look like he will be spoken about in the same bracket as the likes of Tiger, when I think he possibly could have been given his talent.

Long way to go in his career tbh, maybe he shot his bolt too young, who knows ... See where he’s at
when 40, maybe greatness and maturity don’t always go together at times.....:50:

We will never know, but had he stayed with Titelist, then I think he would still be at the top of the game. I didn't expect him to make the cut this week, which is mental considering his ability, but it just shows you where he is these days with his game.
