Also, if we are quibbling over if who Howe is allowed to bring in to support him with the rebuild, it shows our board has learnt nothing. Again.

 

Not really fussed about them comments. The guys in the media Celtic tend to drip feed stuff to wouldn’t be that far of the mark.

 

The media have 'played' the Celtic support in this.
Probably to get the supporters really * off with the board.
Celtic will announce manager in good time.

This is one thing we need to be very very cautious with, with this board.

I think one of two things here, and more inclined to be on the "Howe is coming" train of thought.

1. Howe really does just want to wait till summer, the contact and development of last week is true, but he is legit just wanting to start fresh and see out the last month or two with his family during Covid. I would imagine a guy who admits he throws everything in to a club and goes 24/7 work mode, would be watching every game we play from now till the end, likely asking for the training videos (more than we see on SM) and be making up plans to implement as he comes in. Howe, if he knows he is coming to this job, will be very well prepared.
2. The leak last week, much like the leak the week before on Keane, is the more usual sinister * from this club/board, where they are trying to use their media lackies to leak some exciting rumours just in time for renewals in the hope enough of the fickle fans in our support lap it up and buy in to it quickly.

for the sake of this club and our own long term sanity, I hope the vast majority of the support are eyes wide open to the possibility of number 2 happening. I believe more so that option 1 is likely, but we can NOT be more cautious when it comes to this board. For all the media stories, next to * all has actually changed at this club yet.
PL is still in charge, the rest of the board still remain, as does DD.
Dom McKay hasn't been in the job yet, with no evidence he isn't hired as another mate to toe the party line.

Procced with caution. Howe coming in next week or next month doesn't matter, don't hand over your money to this * at board level till we actually see real change.



Restructuring rumours have only ever been rumours, and nothing apart from Hammond walking out in a strop, has happened to suggest they are anything other than rumours.

In truth no one outside those involved in any negotiations know what’s happening the media need stories so they will make it up his agent might have been told say nothing so that’s interpreted as he’s not coming or he’s not coming yet

I know the board have a habit of * these things up so we can only wait and see what the outcome is, I am sure that if they are looking at managers in the Caliber of Howe then Kennedy is not on their radar for that position they may feel they want to keep him at the club but that is for the new guy to decide where and what that role is he could go and manage the development squad if they get into league 2 like it’s being muted that wouldn’t be seen as a step backwards for Kennedy

 

Bookies will be paying out for Kennedy even if we get put out the cup against Bigot FC. Last game of the season should be the 10th game, which is what most bookie goes by if it’s just a interim.

I think the right terminology over everything that has happened to us this season is scunnered however, if getting Howe in as our new manager also goes * up, then I don't think even that word would describe how we would feel

 

I've no doubt that it still will be Howe. The club and I'm sure the man himself is being bombarded with 'announce Howe'. I'd say he's sick of the questions himself. He said all along that he was taking a full year out etc. I've absolutely no doubt it will still be him. Now whether we have to wait until the seasons end or if he signs a contract to start in July is a different matter.

For all we know it could be signed already.

Think we will see a DOF announcement shortly after McKay takes the helm in the next week or two, and then a coach..
