Just can’t get enough Depeche mode
He’s sorta like a Tom Rogic, talented but never fit and has a terrible goal record in Europe. He’ll score a last minute winner against teams like St Johnstone and folk will think he’s a hero.

Moussa did it on big games.

Without question Griff (like others) has failed the club this season, with his lack of fitness/professionalism.

That said, for me, the club knew he had mental health problems, and with the Covid lockdown measures this is another example of poor management from the club’s hierarchy. Things should have been put in place to support and monitor Griff’s mental and physical condition throughout lockdown.
Suddenly banning him from pre-season tours was completely unproductive, and highlighted a ‘bolt the stable door’ style of management which has also left us with a number of players also running down their contracts.

    Incompetence doesn’t do it justice!

Ultimately if Griff a bigger threat than Ajeti or Klimala?
    Probably
Can any other club in Scotland meet his wages/contract terms.
    Probably not.

This leaves us with Griff for the final 12 months of his contract, if he has a single brain cell left, he will realise that his professional career after Celtic is likely to be very disappointing and frustrating. And unless he wants to end up like Stokes, he better bust his balls (for whoever takes over) to EARN any possibility of a contract extension and the standard of living he (and his family) have probably grown used to.

He’ll be remembered as a Celtic centurion and for once battering in 40 goals in a season. Peoples bad stuff tends to fade the longer they aren’t with us.

He needs to get to *, really does and I pretty much * hate him at this point for what he’s done this season but 122 goals and 51 assists in 257 games isn’t something that can just be discounted.

He once again let himself and the club down this season, but when he was getting a chance off the bench early in the season he did score a couple of crucial goals. The problem is, he then didn't get a run of games to get himself match sharp. Lennon done the same with Ajeti, Klimala and Griffiths, he gave them 20 minutes here and there and a start every now and then. No use at all. Lennon still didn't know his best eleven when he left this season.

See that run? That’s when I went right * off him and just thought go * yourself, because he got himself fit enough, put the work in and by the end of that run because he was banging them in he was on his * fitness wise again. Sheer arrogance.

Dunno man, I don't think he'll be remembered as fondly as you think in years to come.
His attitude/application is unbelievably bad. The guy has massive natural talent but is a waster.

Not sure if fondly would be the right tern but fans will remember this time and the trophies won and Quadruple Trebles and leagues won and nobody’s outscored him during 9 in a row, he’ll be part of that being remembered.

Just another in a lengthening line of current players that should have been moved on from the club before it got to this stage in their celtic careers.

Whenever he steps on the pitch he scores.. I don’t really want to see him leave.

My heart says ‘aye’; my heid says, ‘yer a pie’.

In truth, he’s not been the guy you described in that bold bit for a long, long time.

Like Christie, he has some bad traits/habits that just don’t seem likely to change, despite there being every possibility that they *might*.

    Needs punted.

That is misleading to be fair though because how many minutes has he played in they 20 appearances?

Griffith is so frustrating as you know there is a player in there but he's got himself in such a rut it's hard to know if he'll ever get back to his best.
