    One of Griffiths or Ajeti
    Edouard

    One of Robertson or Connell
    Klimala

    Release
    Ralston
    Afolabi
Perez (if he’s still signed to us)

    Already away
    Elhamed

    Harper

    Keep
    Bain
    Hazard
    O’Connor
    Julien
    Welsh
    Taylor
    McGregor
    Soro
    Brown (massively reduced role only)
    Turnbull
    Connell or Robertson
    Forrest
    Johnston
    Griffiths or Ajeti

    To come in
    Shaw

    Sign
    GK
    RB
    LB
CB x2 or 3 depending on Julien injury
    CM (box to box)
    AM
    RW
    LW
ST x2 or 3 depending on new managers preferred shape, although if a young guy like Joseph from Wigan then 3 needed for me. One of which needs to be capable of playing with their back to goal and holding the ball in before linking with the wingers and midfield or another striker.

    Think we’ll be surprised with the departures this year. Genuinely think all our “big” players will leave now. Our best 11 on paper/value is;

    Barkas
    Kenny, Jullien, Ajer, Laxalt
    Forrest, mcgregor, brown, Christie, elyounoussi
    Edouard

mcgregor will be wanted by many teams and now the 10 is gone...he’s won everything else with us? Probably his last chance with his age for a big move.

    Ajer-certainty.
    Eddy-certainty.
Loans- obviously all not coming back
    Brown-Aberdeen apparently
    Christie-certainty

    From our first team 11 on paper that leaves;
Barkas- who I think will be back to Greece homesick/not settled here
    Jullien-too injury prone to sell
    Forrest-won’t be sought after

that leaves us with 2 real first team players. 2

    Ajer...jullien...welsh...Taylor
    .....Christie....mcgregor.....
    .............turnbull..............
    Forrest......Ajeti.......Eddie

the 3 with a year left will be away and jullien will be out for months. Sad state of affairs

Do we think if HOWE is appointed this week, that might make players that have been angling for MOVES, to consider their position and sign up for playing for him?
    Edouard, Christie, Ajer, Calmac?

If it's Howe/or any decent coach the first priority should be giving youth a chance, for pre season anyway. Looking at Howes training videos and teams young players have flourished. High intensity with a focus on improving players that are willing to be improved. Just look at Welsh v Duffy as a prime example that the older experienced signing isn't necessarily better than the young players we have sitting in the stands.

    Goalkeeper:
    New goalkeeper
    Bain (perfect back up)
    Oluwayemi

Barkas (sold) hazard (no point being on bench at his age/SPL loan) doohan/Mullen loan

    Right back:
    New signing/ seamus coleman
    Lee O'Connor

O'Connor has played a lot of games for Tranmere and is well liked. Has played at RB and CDM and needs to be given his chance. Isn't captain of a very good Ireland u21 team for nothing. Probably lazy of me to suggest Coleman but he would bring leadership, experience and would bring O'Connor on massively.one year left on contract in summer and for 3 mill we could get 3/4 years outta him. Also looks good as part of back 3 if we are going 352 and captain material if that would free up McGregor with that role.

    Centre half:
    Jullien
    Welsh
I'd give hjelde and Hendry the pre season with new manager. All for hjelde staying once he sees considerable game time. If Hendry is still the same, experienced centre half in. Hjelde is massive talent. Really Hendry v new signing

    Left back:
    New signing
    Taylor
    Hjelde can also play here
Montgomery/otoo to be given the pre season and see where they are at.

    Centre mids:
    McGregor
    Soro
    Turnbull
Bitton (more likely to cover and play centre half)
    Shaw/Robertson/connell
Fancy Robertson to stake a decent claim to be next season's welsh
Brown seemed to have big time for connell, maybe could see him on loan at Aberdeen.

    Left wing:
Elyounassi has shown it in sparks. If the manager wants him and the fee is right/ otherwise need signing. If Howe dunno if he best suited pace wise to play Howes 442 further from goal
Mikey has enormous talent needs to kick on now and will hopefully benefit from better coaching and conditioning.

    Right wing:
    Forrest
Dembele/new signing (every indication dembele bags are packed but if new manager can get him to sign and get head right no doubting his potential.

    Striker:
    Big signing
Ajeti (defo goalscorer there/good coach=good ajeti)
    Young striker/nmecha/delap/ Parrott

All assuming Christie/ edoaurd/ ajer are on the way out. Maybe a bolter in Ben Wylie but centre mid is packed.

Henderson/Coffey/afolabi need to show something on loan and quick

Legit idea - can we just sell every single one of them? Legit!

Reckon we could scrape £60mill for them all, then just go sign a brand new starting 11 and let 11 youth players step up next season as well?

From the squad today I would keep Turnbull, Welsh as a rotation player and Ajeti as I think he can come good in the right system. Callum mcgregor I would keep in hope he can get back to his old self, been honking all season
