Think European games shouldn't benefit the away team in the 2nd leg in extra time.

Away goals should be scrapped after the 90 mins.

 

Always think that as well and can never be sure every time it happens if it works that way or not.

Totally not fair on the home team in the second leg, they havent been afforded that chance.

Dinamo Zagreb, nowhere near our resources, Quarters of the Europa League, somewhere we haven't been since 2004, scandalous how we've been run in Europe for far too long

 

Their model cannot be replicated, since it's based on illegally obtained money, and political connections that Rangers have, but Celtic never will. TBF, scouting at Dinamo Zagreb is good. Oršić played in South Korea and China, but someone thought he was good enough for a club with European ambitions. Someone that must be having a big bonus right now.

 

Regardless, they have nowhere near our resources and are in the Quarters of the EL, same with Slavia Prague, another team most likely with nowhere near our resources at a stage of the tournament we've not reached since 2004

Just caught the last 15 mins of the first half of the Ajax vs Roma game. Very enjoyable — predictably end-to-end stuff from two quality, attack-minded teams. Just watching that 15 mins alone is enough to convince me the we & the huns are quite a distance away from Ajax & Roma; if we or them played either of those two clubs tomorrow, we’d both get utterly and comprehensively spanked.

Spot on, you can probably add Villareal to that list too. So frustrating and embarrassing we've done nothing in there for nearly 20 years. Appalling for a club of our size and resources. Really, apart from hat 5-7 year period that started with Seville we've done * all in Europe for 40+ years

 

Was in the middle of saying to my mate Roma’s going to get pumped, no pave in behind to beat Utd’s high line as they won the penalty.
