    Not disagreeing with that.

But he has also overseen one of the most successful times in our history and fresh of a Quadruple Treble.

All I’m saying is, I hope whoever comes in can match those kinds of achievements.

Completely different times now though as well, so the chances of the new man coming in achieving that are pretty slim in all honesty. We had a free run at it for years, it appears now we have a real fight on our hands, through us being mismanaged. As I said, it took Desmond to step in to get the right man to help us achieve the success we have recently, after Lawwell's project in Deila failed, not that Deila got a fighting chance to be honest, he was working with one hand tied behind his back because he wasn't getting backed.

I was thinking more the first five years or so.

The Desmond thing stepping in always * me off. Stepped in because the Hun directors annoyed him, meant we were meaning to not try our hardest.

I agree with pretty much all you’re saying, I do have major issues with them. But they’ve had some great success, and I’m not confident we’ll bring somebody in that can match that, never mind go one better.

The Huns were granted a licence to compete in European Football by the SFA while they had an outstanding debt owed to HMRC, which contravenes UEFAs rules.

Had that licence not been granted - as per UEFAs rules - Celtic would have then been Scotland's Champions League entrants for season 2011/12 and with it the possibility of making £10m+ in prize money and many more millions in gate receipts and sponsorship.

The fans were deprived of that experience and shareholders deprived of that financial benefit due to corruption and our board have done nothing to chase it up or explain why they don't think it is worth further pursuit.

If we didn't * about so much in the transfer market prior to Champions League qualifiers, we could have potentially been in a far better position to compete in Europe instead of being simply in there to make up the numbers. The silly money that is thrown about throughout football due to teams getting massive money from rich owners or tv deals is not something we can control, missing out on tens of millions through penny pinching and playing Russian Roulette with Champions League qualifiers is something we could control, and Lawwell failed on this.

He had a absolute strange obsession with wage bills perfect example larsson leaves chopping 45 grand off we can get rivaldo for 35 grand a week .....he then offers him a trial and then goes for henri camera for 1.5 million loan fee and on 20 grand a week

Those very same government and football authorities have just let them away, scott free, with the biggest most blatant breaching of covid regulations since the whole thing began. We could hardly rely on them to enforce any payments for damages.

What im saying is Celtic could only agree to the game going ahead if those assurances were in place.

OK, what we're talking about is Hun OldCo, right (?) who had PAYE arrears at the time but were still allowed to participate in the 11/12 CL whereas we went into the EL?

Thing is we had no real rival or threat during this run. We had a real chance to build on a position of strength but that was wasted in the showers when Lennon got the gig full time. Or it was the start of the end when he never backed Rodgers with the McGinn saga and not getting him of them right backs he wanted so much.

He could have killed the huns off quicker if that Last WGS window was a success but instead we got Willo Flood and handed them another three titles before they died.

For me I don’t think he would have lasted this long if they hadn’t died.

Yes, PAYE arrears from the Discounted Option Share Scheme also known as 'the wee tax case'.

An uncontested charge that Lord Nimmo Smith neglected to consider in his case.
