He might get a chance under the new gaffer unless we get an offer similar to what we bought him for. The latter part is unlikely I think.

I seen enough to think he could come good but by the same token he has a lot to improve on to be a first team regular.

Let’s be honest what he done was extremely stupid but other teams and players have done much worse and they got off lightly in comparison to Boli and Celtic. He was scapegoated because it happened early in the season.

 

He had some pretty pish moment's but was probably our best left back to be honest..

I’d like to see all our loan players offered a chance under proper management

 

Honestly, despite how angry I was with him, I'd give him another shot. That LB has been a sore spot this season. Unless we got anything.ljned up I'd sooner start with him than Taylor tbh. Probably play him before laxalt too tbh

 

I think he's a much better player than Taylor and probably better than Laxalt, funny thing is he if wasn't a * moron who went * abroad during the middle of a pandemic he'd be our first choice LB.

Seems to have only played 13 games for Basaksehir this season, hopefully they buy him but it's not looking likely.

 

In hindsight do you think what we done to him was justified? He was literally the first casualty of our season due to an over reaction from the government (I’m not saying he was right in going abroad to * a bird) all I’m saying is that with the other teams players breaking curfew to go out to house party’s etc he was pretty much thrown to the wolves by sturgeon and the papers, yet nothing at all has been done to the other players that broke the law. Seems another bit of complete bias towards them one rule for everyone else no rules for them.

 

Did we ever play him as a wing back in the 3-5-2?

if he didn't * off to spain we would have had 2 more games to get fit for the frenc. CL game and who knows what may have happened if we made Cl groups and got extra coin etc.. maybe no need to get duffy etc etc..

if that pic of him today is what modern footballers are all about then no thanks... Henrik, Sutton or lubo wouldn't be at that usually had to be called in from doing training as they were working on their weaknesses and improving their strengths.

He was a wing back for Rapid Vienna and we stuck him at left back in a 4. Literally never played as a wing back for us once as far I recall?
