Cant see next year being too great either, massive rebuild will take time. Fully expect next season to b better nontheless. We'll compete for the title the following year..

    Realistically!

You've completely missed my point, the league is over, we might as well give our reserve players some gametime, give Barkas and Ajeti the remaining games and hopefully they show something.

If we do get rid of the wasters and dross from the club then we will be left with the absolute bare bones of a squad. It's therefore vital that we get a new manager in asap who can start the rebuilding job in time for next season. Waiting until the end of season would only handicap a new manager from the off and would also give the huns a head start in defending their title as they have a settled team and will probably have already planned for next season.

We actually need to win 2 of our remaining 6 matches to guarantee CL football next season.
2 are against the huns and 2 are against teams fighting for European football.
Hibs can mathematically pip us to that place and it wouldnt surprise me in the least if the huns let them get those points allowing them to play in CL.

Hibs had the chance to pressure us the last two weeks, they lost both games, as * as we are we aren't finishing third this season.

What should happen is we should move into the 21st century.

Stop giving jobs to “Sellick men” just because. Sort the academy out by bringing in more talented young players from abroad and employing youth coaches who know what they’re doing.

Get a competent DoF in and let them run the footballing side of the club. A progressive manager who will get us playing good football, blood in the academy players if they’re good enough and loan out those who need it before they reach the age of 20.

Given how successful we’ve been domestically this century, our record in Europe in the last decade or so is pathetic. We haven’t won a knockout tie in Europe for more than 15 years.

And we need to stop spending the odd £2m here or £3m there on pish like Klimala, Bolingoli, Eboue etc. We’ve found some gems with the likes of Dembele, VVD and Wanyama. But for the most part our recruitment has been grim for years.

    Make us an attractive proposition.

I'm not a fan of Brown's continous selection. The way forward for us cannot involve him still being a first team player. Arguably even a squad player. But some of the criticism he's getting is a bit much. I know it may be a minority but he's been a fantastic player for us and the mismanagement of him isn't his fault. I actually thought he was good today, although I lost my stream for the second half.

The fact that our new DOF cant get started because they wont part with a compensation package should tell us that even now lessons havent been learned !!
What a disgraceful way to run a massive club its honestly sickening , watching and listening to those reptiles celebrating should be enough for them to get their act finally together but then again they dont hurt like us thats obvious !!

We're such a massive club but we're run like a * Sunday league side.

    No strategy, no ambition.

Had our foot on the throats of the huns and we * let them breathe again.

    Unforgivable.

For the fans here, I would recommend just accepting the fact that we’re going to take a bit of a ripping over the next few months. Focus on something other than football and you’ll feel better for it.

Beyond that, I maintain that there’s a good chance that we’ve left it too late for next season. Too much to do and too little time. We’re likely to be looking at a transitionary season next year.
