The Trust is trying to enable those who have shares in the club to use those shares to have more say in how the club is run...

You seem to be against the idea of us having some sort of say in how our club is run, every thread on the subject you've been sceptical and seem happy to accept the way things are with the current PLC, where the disconnect between the fans hasn't been so gaping in decades..

I'm interested to hear how you would effect much needed change?

Its not about one man or woman and like any fan group we aren't always going to agree but more say and accountability is essential and the Trust seems to be a decent vehicle for achieving that.

The new CEO has to try and connect with the fans which and will be a major part of the role and huge job he has on his hands

Low has publicly backed Lennon and continues to back Lennon as he’s his friend. Such blind faith is most definitely an old boys mentality and not one of ‘change’.

I hope, for the Trust’s benefit, that a new chair is voted in when the time comes.

When? Not recently to my knowledge.

He's been stating that things are happening behind the scenes:

On twitter. He’s backed Lennon time and time again.

His cryptic sign off this morning sums him up, ‘All is not as it seems and all will become clear in time.’ Just like his pal muttered at a press conference a few days ago.

As a shareholder himself and chair of a shareholding organisation, has he been withholding information from fellow shareholders, Trust members and subscribers?

There are a number of governance issues at play if so

Embarrassing for the club that he had to resign and was not sacked. The board deserve a huge amount of blame for this season and, for me, it has been their fault this mess has continued for as many months as it has.

I guess it depends on the gravity of the information in question.

Each to their own if they choose to not be a member of the Trust but if David Low goes and another person comes in, then he'll be the next under attack for something he says or believes that doesn't follow the status quo, then the next, then the next....and so on and so on.

When Celtic Shared was announced you had guys hopping all about Twitter saying how they could never back something associated with the GB because they let off flares/protest with banners/bang drums etc. etc.

The result is the support is divided and there will never be any prospect of real change until we unify.

The same happens across the political world when someone tries to take on power. The figurehead gets attacked and their character questioned, they then push out the agenda that their association discredits the entire movement and support then dissipates....power wins.

I wasn't expecting this, thought he'd be here next season myself but there you go. Obviously our problems haven't all suddenly vanished but it's a start at least. Critical thing now is getting somebody who is going to be able to not only turn the club around but also have a plan to see us evolve as a club. We all know we can succeed domestically but we need a plan, an identity even, to see us punch our weight in Europe, where the real prestige and money is. I'm not saying we're gonna be fighting it out with Real and Bayern for the CL but getting turned over by teams like Molde, Ferencvaros et al has to stop. With our resources there's no reason we can't maintain domestic dominance whilst regularly qualifying for CL groups or make the EL knock-out stage.

This makes me neither happy nor sad

Just relieved that he is gone and worried about who the board will put in

Lennon is proof that larsson should never ever manage us. Ever. I do not want anything tainting that man.

The board actually do take us for absolute mugs. It's all for public show and to protect Lennon, which I'm not too bothered about..but does anyone actually believe he resigned? :56:

He was clearly allowed to "resign" as part of an agreed payoff package with the board - hence the BS statements completely ignoring the * this season has been. He was going either way - the decision had been made.

I think he'll be lucky to get any sort of management role (he'll certainly never manage a club at any top level again). However, if he still has aspirations in that direction, being sacked by Celtic (after Bolton and Hibs) would be the end of that.

I completely agree that the board are as much to blame - they've been sitting on their hands and insulting our intelligence.

This could and should have been sorted in October last year.

It's a start. Hopefully the rest of the failures at the club will follow

His time was up months ago, unfortunately now he'll be remembered as the man who * the 10 rather than for his 21 trophies.

    He'll go into punditry now.
