He’s been better but he’s playing like a lone striker, next to another striker.

The only link up he’s shown this season is with Moi.

I touched on the the link up, or lack of it with Edouard in the match thread as well. Ajeti I thought had a good game last night, he held up the ball very well and got us up the park then brought others into play. He was more often than not though in the left wing position and receiving the ball facing his own goal. I can't remember him ever turning his man and running at them. What he did do, he done it well though, but I agree, it was a performance you would be delighted to see from a lone striker.

Does not do enough for me.
Just reckon Eddy and Griff are a better option.

Tend to agree, but would give him one more start with Eddy at the weekend before moving back to Griff if he doesn't turn up

Very strange guy. If you watch Ajeti's reaction after Turnbulls excellent 25 yarder his face is completely blank, totally emotionless. Even Eddy who isnt the most emotional of guys has massive grin on his face. I suspect if Ajetis himself had scored a brilliant goal he would have celebrated but doent look interested when its one of his team mates. This sets off alarm bells for me, his attitude isnt right. He doesn't come across as a team player and people have been rightly questioning his work rate. Im not impressed, * angers me to see a player who doesn't appreciate playing for Celtic. Needs to get his finger out of his * and prove he is worthy of playing in the hoops.

Think he holds it up quite well and looks a decent finisher but over all still not sure about him

Starting to sour on him a bit tbh, he does lack service in games but he should be doing better.

What? You're actually daring to suggest that players should be held accountable for their own performance rather than blaming it all on Neil Lennon. How dare you!

That could be a possibility to be fair. Although even the way he slowly shuffles off the pitch when he is substituted is starting to annoy me. The guy needs to * wake up. If Lennon wont play Griffiths then id rather see Klimala start with Eddy. He got himself into a decent position to score tonight with a good run due to his work rate, something that certainly cant be said about Ajeti.

Of course they should, what I blame Neil Francis Lennon for is

    -Getting knocked out the CL
-Finishing bottom of our EL group, with two 4-1 defeats to a very average sparta prague side with countless players out
-Getting knocked out the League cup at home to Ross County
-Being 15 points behind the huns
-Horrendous formations and tactics during games
    -Horrendous use of substitutions
-Continually throwing players under the bus
-Continually second best against the huns
-Continually playing out of form/terrible players (Brown, Duffy, Christie)
-Not giving Soro, Turnbull and Welsh chances early on despite them showing promise
-His blatant disregard towards any slight criticism this season

but disregard all that mate, there's only one Neil Francis Lennon :lenny1:

Let's be honest mate, Lennon would have made Toney look absolute * as well.

I'm sure if we signed him he'd have been 'coached' down to our level by now too.

Looks like he doesn't give one * about being here, reminds me of guidetti good start realised it wasn't really for him and then done next to * all anytime he played.

He’s playing up top with Eddy so he should be smart enough to realise Eddy is going to be the striker who drops deep to receive the ball and link with the midfielders.

Ajeti should be looking to offer a different option and stay on the last man and make good runs when the ball is out wide.

I am really worried about our striking options other than Edouard who is leaving in the summer. Ajeti looks miles of it and Klimala’s touch is hideous. Griffiths seems to come in and out the team these days too much these days to ever get any form.

Like the defence, it needs cleared out and new options brought in particularly someone who can actually play with their back to goal and link up with others. If they were decent in the air that would also help.
