Goodwin’s game plan at Celtic Park was spot on. He went man for man in midfield with an emphasis on preventing Soro from dictating the game with his forward passing. Lennon failed to find a solution to it and it could be more of the same on Wednesday if we go with the diamond.

But aye, go with a team like this. Barkas just needs to play, none of the keepers are at their top game and the teams a mess, but we may as well try give the lad a chance here to be at speed for the preseason.

Welsh and ajer must start from now on, with eventually Julien coming back for the last few games.

That diamond speaks for itself, those three middle men are the midfield for the next few years in my eyes (of the talent we have) and rogic is just s dream to watch when he's on it.

Ajeti needs game time and a partner, it's not going to be edouard long term, but equally we need both up to their top game - Ajeti tto be ready for next season and Édouard to get the money in for him.

Think we'll take this one. St Mirren 0-3 Celtic. Expect Lennon to start talking pish about momentum after a third consecutive win.

 

Tough game. St Mirren in decent form and well organised. When did we last win against a top 6 side??? 1-2 to the good guys.

 

I think any game we play now is going to be tough as opposition teams know exactly how we play. It will be the usual endless mishit crosses into the box, Eddy trying to take on too many players on his own and the team really struggling to break down a stubborn packed defence. St Mirren will rely on the break or punt high cross balls into our box which, as we all know, usually leads to goals
