    He will probably follow his team mate Pearson to Bournemouth. Bournemouth tried to sign Davies in the Summer so it wouldn’t be surprising at all.

    He's quality mate. I think this signing makes sense regardless of who will be in charge next year, not one we should miss out on just because of managerial uncertainty.

    Agree, but we need CB's in right now. There is still 2. place to protect, and we need better options than Duffy until the season ends. I'd have liked Davies to come now.

    Yeah I agree with that. Especially since he's now frozen out at Preston. It wouldn't be the first time a club agreed a pre-contract agreement with a player only to settle on a nominal fee with the club after to get him in January though, so maybe we'll see that happen.

    Suppose.
    I know nothing of him, I don't hold much hope that he is as good as some suggest *cough* Duffy *cough* if no other Championship club or low end EPL club are not sniffing.

    Been stung with this one all too often.
    And as others say, we need CB in NOW - pointless to sign ones when the managers position is clearly up for grabs in the summer.

    Arguments for and against, but unable to see a host of similar sized clubs like us chase him.
    When we know how up their own * the English clubs are, surely they'd be all over someone from their own backyard?

    I do hope he is a tidy player and any future manager gets use out of him. But too often we make these signings and they do * all.
