Agree on both counts. Letting your mark drift from you like that was very poor but was other then that very good all night and should not have been subbed.

He’s a good RB or DMF

He’s far far too skilful to be a CB.

Played out of position almost his entire Celtic career for me.

Only guy this season who can actually hold his head high.

He wants a move to a bigger platform and he's been going about it the right way. He at least cares, gives his all and shows passion and never hides.

I was wanting two new CBs signed in the summer with Julienne and Ajer as back up, always said Ajer has a * of a lot to learn, giving away daft fouls and penalties against Rennes for example, but he's been probably the only shining light throughout this * show of a season. Turnbull and Soro have been impressive but they've only really came into the equation from Lille game onwards.

Fair * to Ajer, hope he gets his move to Milan. He deserves it.

Would love to see Ajer play in his favoured midfield position he’s already providing better service than Frimpong again

Reckon you could play Ajer anywhere-and he would deliver.

He is not perfect and there will be the odd error, but that is true of pretty much anyone, yet he would give it his all, 100% all the time, every time. Have said this so many times, verything about him, his style and attitude is so reminds me so much of Roy Aitken.

I get what you mean. In terms of attitude towards the game and the likes.

Folk have mentioned Ajer playing in midfield. He has a number of attributes that fit in well. But for me, his over-reliance on his right side would be a massive problem for him. He isn't hopeless on his left side. But his tendency is to avoid it. When he played as the left centre half, he often closed off the left side of the field by his body position. Even as a right-back, he can be largely nullified as a threat. Happened last night, the Hamilton number 3 shown him inside, Ajer then just bulldozed right into the * and gave away a free kick.

For me, he is most valuable as a right side centre-half in a back four or in the same position in a 3. In a 3, he is more than capable of dealing in 1v1 situations and has pace/covers the ground well enough, when dragged wide. Unfortunately, we don't have enough players who can complement this. And Ajer has been punted to the left side to compensate and at the same time, to the detriment of his abilities.

Cannot blame him again today at least he was showing an effort to make it into the box.

At fault for the second goal.

Some exciting runs today but not a RB. Wish we would play him in his actual position.

Totally agree, and always have. Think he’d make a top DM, or even roaming CM.

He’s a DM for me. Would kill for him to stay one more year with a top manager and play DM

Don't think we'll realise how good he is until we have to replace him, even in * overall performances from the team he shines.

I think we tend to forget that he is only 22 years old & that he is only going to get better with time.

Being played out of position, and despite the second goal, is still one of our better players this season.

I'd want a big name manager to come in and then try to convince him to stay for another year or two. We need a new defence - him, Jullien and Welsh are pretty much the only players I'd keep from our current roster of defenders and I include keepers on that list too. Hazard can go out on loan, the rest can get tae.

He should be out next captain. If we can convince him to stay.
