That's exactly what he was doing.

There has been a lot of hypocrisy from the authorities. There were valid points to be made about the double standards of the Govt and the SFA. Unfortunately, they were drowned out in the middle of Lennon's inarticulate, self-pitying rant.

Lennon is arrogant and seems to think he's been badly treated this season (which is a joke). At 95% of other clubs - he would have been history long ago.

He came across as an entitled, bitter man who knows the jig is up for him and is looking around for other people to blame.

A lot of his comments this season have been ludicrous but this was really bizarre.

Thanks to the performances on the pitch, we are already a laughing stock this season but this was the cherry on the cake.

I don't care about Lennon looking bad (that's on him) but I do care when he makes the club look bad.

If Desmond is negotiating with a new manager to come in over the next 2 - 3 weeks, then he might as well keep Lennon in place.

However, if the new guy cannot come in until May/June - DD should get rid of Lennon tomorrow and appoint Kennedy to the end of the season.

Lennon is becoming more of an embarrassment with each passing day.

Everyday him and his staff remain at the club the worse the rot spreads and the harder the rebuild is

Same for Lawwell. Just * off away.,

The mistakes this season have been endlessly debated and highlighted, NFL's abilities as Celtic boss in 2020 is not really a matter for debate anymore.

It's highly likely it's all over for him as manager, as even a board as incompetent as ours can now see just how devisive he is amongst our supporters.

Regrettably more importantly to them, it's probably the detrimental effect of retaining him on the finances that will be the deciding factor - with talk of poor future season ticket sales and other financial issues like sponsorship and merchandise taking a hit that will become the biggest influence on the direction the board/club moves forward.

I'd be astonished if the board were exploring any other option, but replacing him now.
For me it's just a question of when, not if?

With that in mind, I do feel uncomfortable with the direction this thread had taken recently, with all the personal abuse.
Losing the 10 hurts, really hurts, but for me enough is enough.

Let's start showing some of that class that makes us stand out from all the other clubs.

When you watch the news / papers about poor robbie Williams getting covid in his 110k villa a week in Caribbean with his family ( lennon does have a point ) think media lapped it up 1 our players catching it.

The reason other clubs hate us is exactly this attitude.

You're criticizing teams with a fraction of our budget for not "stepping up", * does that even mean? Several teams won trophies after they liquidated, Aberdeen pushed us a fair amount in the league. Of course other teams want the league to improve but they work within a budget just like us.

This is as ridiculous as Barcelona criticizing us for not "stepping up" and trying to win the champions League

Just looking at a couple of stats and found that Lennon is 1 of only 4 Celtic managers out of 18 who actually left the club whilst club were the winners of the league.
The others were Jansen, Deila and Rodgers.
Out of the other 14 only 2 lost the league to teams other than the hun scum.
That was Jimmy McStay against Killie- we finished 8th and Cesar in his first term to Dundee Utd
