Potential Manager Suggestions?

Going from 50 plus scouts and a system that we were getting class players in and selling high, to 3 or 4 by the end of his tenure isn’t lacking substance.

It’s sheer * incompetence.

 

Looking forward to a time after Lennon where you get excited about watching the team, excited about young players coming through, excited about the team creating chances, cutting through teams

Really need to get a new guy in pronto, does Pedro think Lenny is going to turn it around?

After watching the Liverpool v Man Utd game yesterday, pitch like a putting green, game refereed to perfection, with VAR if required, world class players moving the ball about with pace and precision. I would be surprised if some-one like Eddie Howe took the job. Scottish football in my opinion has regressed embarrassingly. Its like watching junior football full of hammer throwers and in-competent refs compared to the EPL.

 

Nah he can play putting green football up here during August and September with our super high tech pitch that is worse than a normal pitch during winter

 

I think you do Scottish Football a grave disservice. Some very decent sides with decent young players now and that Liverpool - Utd game was a * drab affair. Give me the SPFL over the prawn sandwich brigade any day of the week

 

I agree it could have done with some goals, but the professionalism from the pitch management, to the referring and VAR introduction and coaching is something we are lacking.

 

Aye well obviously. Its the biggest cash cow league in the world for a reason. And the best teams in the league attract the best players in the world to play for them. Barcelona v Real Madrid. Watching that game also makes Scottish football look shiter aswell.

Or when you watch Wilder v Fury. That tends to show up the two * boxing outside the chip shop in Possill as no being as good as them two either.

 

No he’s done that because he put his mate Congerton in charge of it who was incompetent, he had already ansolutely destroyed Sunderland. I’m surprised it’s not happened at Leicester yet.

Either way it’s sheer incompetence.

 

Really wasn’t sure about Eddie Howe. But if you google him and watch some of the videos on you tube! Wow he would be similar in terms of the professionalism we had with Rodgers

one of the things I noticed. And have noticed recently in other premier league games is the amount of coaches they have
There’s almost a team of 10 on some benches. I coming that interesting compared to our very small set up

 

Aye and if the manager moves on then the coaches follow him because he trusts them and they know his ways of working down to a tee. Come to Celtic but and you're stuck with what's already here because heaven forbid John Kennedy doesn't have a job, or * mend us if we have to pay some compensation...

 

I've always found it bonkers how few coaches we have, there's a manager an assistant and a first team coach, that's it ? Where are the specialists, the analysists, * me Liverpool have a coach who solely works on throw ins. There's about two professional goals scored in our whole set of staff

 

There's no argument about the scouting/recruitment department under him. Aas shocking..

Almost everything else under the rat went up a notch though and pretty much everyone that worked with/under him or heard from people close to him....said the same..

We've went massively backwards at an alarming rate since he left..

No direction
No style of play
We look ridiculously unfit
No idea's in game. The snake and Davies were always jotting bit's down and giving pointers in game's

You could go on and on. Everything looks * from the outside and is *..

 

Our entire set up is a complete shambles.

Am I right in saying Tosh McKinley is still one of our ‘main’ scouts along with Strachan’s other kid?

If Dev is right and we've genuinely gone from 50 scout's to 3 or 4 then wow. That's astonishing..

I knew it was bad but that's next level..

Does explain why we rely on guy's like Duhan and ex player's etc..

 

I never even realised we had 50 scouts. Is/was that officially?

I know we have part time scouts and folk who do scouting for the club ad hoc.

 

I'd imagine that's a lot of unofficial that are asked to scout in their local area's etc like say Lubo in Slovakia for example..

3 or 4 is pathetic for a club our size..

No wonder we struggle to pick player's up..

 

absolutely spot on. And it’s so crazy. The money involved is not a lot. For example I hate to bring it back up again but the cost of the Dubai trip for a week could have paid for another couple of full time coaches for a couple of years
