Harper hasn't been a magician like many hoped but he is out of position in a team with no striker, he's been unlukcy with a couple and could have been better with a couple desicions but he's young and it's his debut in an important match,

Performance has been what you'd expect, need the first goal as quickly as possible.

 

Harper is a young prospect. Cant write him off because hes been pish for 45 mins.

Cant fault Welsh, Duffy playing well apart from one awful slice early on.
Johnston & Rogic need to give us more energy, neither like to press do they?
McGregor needs to offer more, whether he likes or or not hes the senior man out there.
Wont be too hard on Harper, obviously should have pulled that back, but I'm willing to cut him some slack.
Soro and Turnbull fabulous again.

Give Rogic 15mins then bring Connel on and push Turnbull up

 

Laxalt just doesn’t have the confidence to take his man on. Some great defending from him though.

Frimpong has to use his pace more and get to the byline. No one in Scotland can keep up with him when he gets going.

Would be tempted to bring the Scouse Pirlo on at some point in the second half for Soro before he gets a red. Dembele on for Harper if he doesn’t get into the game more.

Think people need to take into the account that we've got a group of players here that have never played together. Was always going to take a while to click, the last part of the half was better.

Biggest issue is the lack of a focal point in attack. Harper needs a proper striker beside him. Johnstone looks better when dropping deep so we're left with no threat in the final third.

 

He's been with his current burd now for 8 years and they still have no weans.

He probably never finishes. Just slides out after an hour.
