We will be fine. Just 1 last game for him before going into semi retirement. Knowing Broony he will end up motm

    Ajeti
With quality set pieces coming in now i'd like to see Ajeti getting a game, whos the sort to pick up scraps or able to head one. Wee Cup final goal could also settle him in. Edouard definitely need left out for me, can't keep playing him and not seeing any effort. Klimala could deserve a game, Griffiths out the picture for starting a bit again having not played in a while.

Frimpong, Johnston, Rogic, Edouard, Griffiths and Klimala good options off the bench if we need pace or Ajeti is *.

I wouldn't be against playing Edouard on the left instead of Elyounoussi either though, although Elyounoussi is in scoring for Edouard if he would try would probably be better there than Elyounoussi as he is quicker, a better dribbler and finisher and wouldn't need to lead the line as much coming from the left. He'd probably toss toys out the pram at not being through the middle though.

Hopefully given its current success Lennon will likely play that 11 but on paper go 3 at the back with Jullien Duffy Ajer.

You said previously no room for sentim
sentiment in sport. Why Broony? He is gone as a player and I hope he doesn't get a new contract at the end of the season. His wage can go on other players

Dire wi Edouard up front who leaves us like 4-2-4-0 not with a proper striker who unsettles defenders and gets into the box and creates space for the midfield.

First of all we need to win and I believe we will win with Broony playing, we might win more convincingly without him but this is last seasons competition and I'm happy for last seasons team to win or lose this. It's less to do with sentiment and more to do with what's right by individuals and squad morale.
I think the whole squad would be behind the decision that last years team plays. If I was in Turnbulls shoes I'd rather Broony or Christie to play as I wouldn't feel like I deserved a shot in the final.

He wont be getting a new contract and doesn't deserve one unless it is as a coach.

If I was Turnbull I would think I should be played ahead of those who are not performing

    4-3-3

    Hazard

    Ajer Jullien Duffy Laxalt

    Soro McGregor Turnbull

    Christie Edouard Elyounoussi

Brown on for the last 20-25 mins, if we are comfortably winning or looking to close the game out.

Wouldn't be adverse to starting Klimala tbh. Big pitch for him to make runs and stretch the Hearts defence.

Not for me. Players should be picked on merit and nothing else. By all means bring him on with 5 minutes to go, so he can lift the cup, but in no way should he be starting another match for us unless we have an injury crisis.

It's all subjective if course, just personally I wouldn't like to if I were in his shoes. The team deserve to finish what they started

Every other game I agree but this one belongs to the squad from last season. I think they get to play on merit because if that

Under normal circumstances I might agree, but not right now. We are starting to build a wee bit of momentum and confidence for the first time in months. How much of a dent do you think that would take if we lose the final? Plus, taking the longer view, to have any chance of the 10 we MUST beat that lot in a few weeks. I would be looking to get Soro and Turnbull as much game time as possible between now and then so they are ready for it. No. For me Brown starts on the bench, the club comes first.
