    Juno actor has come out as transgender.

    Ellen Page comes out as transgender and changes name to Elliot

    "The actor formerly known as Ellen Page has announced that he is transgender and now goes by the name of Elliot.

    The star, known for starring in hit films Juno and Inception, posted a lengthy statement on Twitter.



    It said: "I want to share with you that I am trans, my pronouns are he/they and my name is Elliot."

    "I feel lucky to be writing this. To be here. To have arrived at this place in my life," the statement added."

    Right, for the sake of conversation I really don’t understand all this they/he/she stuff?

    How in the name a * can a woman proclaim to world that she is a lesbian (no shame in that), then tell the world that she is now a man, but you’ve not to call her a man you’ve to call her “they”.

    Am I getting that right???
