I get the temptation to rest a few key players.

But in Laxalts case, he needs the game time.

 

Unpopular opinion- would bring him back into the first team and put Laxalt into midfield.

Was criticised for his lack of attacking ability but our defence has suffered with Elhamed and him out of it.
Thought the criticism of him was Over the top.

 

I don't think many people were criticising him on the defensive side of his game but in the system we pay he gives us nothing going forward. The only times he gets a ball in the box is when he is running on to a through ball which doesn't happen enough for us. No chance he deserves to be back in the team under this system.

another absolute waste of money. Between him and Bolingoli we could have went out and bough a quality Left Back and still had money left over

 

I was thinking exactly the same. Laxalt and Christie in midfield would give us the energy we've been missing and they could both play box to box with a more defensive midfielder behind them.
Taylor can't beat a man but he's half decent defensively and he makes decent runs in behind and can put a decent ball into the box we just need to play the right passes through defences for him to run onto

Had a great game the day, I know there will be plenty who will give him zero credit to save face but the attitude of the boy is * top class. Am glad we have him * the haterz x

 

I prefer him to Laxalt.

 

Had a good game. Decent squad player. Should’ve won us a penalty too.

 

Seems to split us!! I'm actually on his side. With decent finishing he could have had a couple of assists, granted some crosses are wasted. Quite a few could do with his attitude starting with that guy up front!!

He’s not better or worse than Hayes, but always gives 100% when asked, don’t think he’s the best but can’t fault the effort and attitude.

 

Squad player.

Good energy and attitude but can't forget that he can't/won't dribble.

 

Done well but he's deffo not better than laxalt.

 

Some people just need a whipping boy. He played well as usual. He's rarely going to be our star man but he's very dependable, doesn't make mistakes and gives 100%. He's not good a beating a man but makes good runs in behind and we should play to his strengths by playing him in with the right passes.
