His interview today really does * me off, but trying to just forget it and chalk it up to his usual *.

Aye it’s his flat out refusal to even suggest that he has to do better. He seems to think he’s completely blameless through all this.

 

NL: “You have to put a sense of perspective. We’ve made a better start to the league than we did two years ago and went on to win the treble. We’ve lost one domestic game this calendar year.”



NL: “Since I’ve been back, we’ve won four trophies in a row, the team’s won 11 in a row. We’ve got a chance of winning 12. We are going through a sticky patch, all teams do and good teams and managers come through that and that’s what I firmly believe we‘ll do.”



NL: “I enjoy the pressure, it’s never really bothered me before. You’re disappointed in the reaction of some people but can’t control everything. I’m looking ahead, looking forward to the games coming up and putting a good run together between now and the new year.”



NL: “We know we are in for a title challenge and we’ll embrace it. It’s new for some of the players, section of fans but it’s not new for me. I’ve been in many title races and challenges before and I know how to win them.”


NL: “We have to win tomorrow to stand any chance of qualifying. That’s our sole focus now. The reverse game here was as disappointing as we’ve been for a while and it’s important we motivate ourselves to correct that.”


NL: “We must endeavour to try and win the game. Our away record in Europe has been pretty good. We take all the positives from that and bring it into the game tomorrow.”

NL: “Griffiths is out with a knee problem but should be ok over the next few days. Jullien and Elhamed are in contention to start.”

 

What a beautiful day. I woke up this morning and saw the the banner outside Celtic Park, and now Lennon's had a meltdown in front of the public defending how * he is.

See he's reverted back to the lazy argument "well, we've won x amount of trophies from yesteryear"

Bullshit, none of that * matters at all right now, doesn't matter if some of this squad were involved in an invincible treble, doesn't matter if they won a treble season after or the one after that. If you and your management can't * get these guys playing to a level that's required to ensure history is made with 10iar and think previous trophy wins somehow absolve you from the spaghetti * we are seeing now, * me, you are a pathetic moron.

Love has its * limits when you come out with nonsense like that.

 

- Call the fans bed wetters.
- Call an entire season of bad performances a ‘sticky patch’
- Barely acknowledge embarrassing the club in Europe.
- Talk about past achievement to distract from his current failures.
- Shamelessly take credit for work done by previous manager.

Guys obviously an egomaniac with no respect for the support and taking no responsibility for his failings.

He’s also obviously going to use the Hearts final as a ‘* you’ to everyone. Very sad indeed.

As long as this board is running the club, this day will come under a different manager.

9IAR has glossed over issues which were made evident against proper challenges in europe, and now, domestically.

Lennon will pay the price but the incompetence extends beyond him.

Also, its sickening to me that after he leaves, he will leave behind a group of players, half of whom have shown no heart or desire in what is one of the most important season for fans.

 

Naw that's it for me. Any remaining respect has gone right out the window after that press conference. Delusional

 

What else can the guy say....players are *,im *,staff are * and we will lose the 10.
He does look like a defeated man despite his words,more than likely hurt by the banner news.But you have only yourself to blame lenny.

As much a majority of us support the idea of a new appointment this is far from a beautiful day. We all wanted to see Lennon succeed and we all certainly did not want it to come to this, banners outside Celtic park. I find it the absolute opposite of beautiful and I hope most Celtic fans feel the same way.
