Kind of a mix of the two poll options for me.

Haven’t been less bothered about a European game, actually probably any game, in quite some time. We’re as good as out as it is and I expect us to get beat.

I actually understand the sentiment of being willing to take a loss to achieve success in the bigger picture.

Would anyone really not accept a loss tomorrow if it guaranteed us the 10?

No, because it doesn't work like that.

Tbh the 10 isn't even what I'm bothered about, it's much bigger than that. We have regressed massively and I'm actually more fed up at getting embarrassed in Europe than the them

Feel like this too. We had the time and income to permanently take this club to the next level. Might as well be 2010 again.

Get a team in a formation that works. Win a game, which just happens to be in Europe and repeat next game,etc.... be a start.

A sign of improvement would be a 0-0 draw. I'm dead seious. Of course, a 0-1 win would be nicer, but any praise Lennon would get after the game from me is dependent on us not conceding.

442 diamond. Keep the formation until we have more options on the wings

Im not saying it works like that - but it’s not an entirely implausible scenario.

Nobody is saying they want us to lose because they enjoy watching us get beat. They’re saying they want us to lose because they’re hopeful it will lead to the changes they believe will bring about longer term success (ie the 10). That’s the rationale behind it.

I don’t disagree but he simply cannot try out another system. He’s used too many already and this would would be a radical change to spring on the players when they’re already struggling to understand what they’re doing.

Genuinely curious, what makes you think that losing a dead rubber game would lead to changes?

The club has already lost games of huge financial importance this season. They’re dropping points in the league on a regular basis. Including when we got embarrassed at home by our biggest rivals and title challengers. They insist no changes are required.

    I don’t.

I can just understand the thought process of people saying they would take the L if it led to changes for the better.

I agree it would be mad to be switching formation again but this one gets players back into their natural positions. Bitton picking passes out from deep and shielding the defence. Christie and Calmac box to box and offering support to rogic, eddy and griff. Also that back 4 is our most solid backline which also offers an attacking threat from elhamed and lax, with jullien being an aerial threat from set pieces.
