Will give it a try Mate when get sometime. Was reading up a bit more about it there and didn’t realise it was only just released this year on prime , I noticed only one season had been made and I assumed it was an older season so was giving it a swerve based on me thinking no hope for more seasons when I seen it mentioned on numerous pages earlier today.

You think it’s worth sticking with then?

I’ve actually read some rumours that I was imagining for a while,
    considering the pit was empty.

    That would be interesting.

Been using the American Netflix lately through my VPN, there’s a few differences in the film section but not as much as there used to be.

Yet another Israeli Netfilix show and also very good

    When Heroes Fly

    https://www.netflix.com/title/81021294

    https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8220344/

This one in contrast has nothing to do with the conflict however - well other than an early scene when the four friends were in service together. But it's not about that at all, other than the bearing a critical event during that has on their friendship and individual well-being.
The story is actually mostly set in Columbia, where the four go to attempt to find the sister of one and girlfriend of another, who was believed to have been killed some 10 years earlier.
It is a wee bit disjointed to follow the storyline, especially in the first episode until you become used to how it plays - you are given limited info regarding some situations which appear unexplained, but then you get a part of that through a flashback - and then again, repeatedly throughout the series until everything that actually led up to current day has been unfolded. A wee bit disconcerting initially, but you soon get into it and realize that you will get a bit more with each reveal. And in retrospect it was very well done.

I would recommend it - good story and like the other Israeli shows I recommended previously, has good casting and high standard of acting.

In that case you will love it. It's him talking through his career. Pretty clever idea. If you have Sky you will get it On Demand :50:

I enjoyed it, looking forward to the new season in the new year.

Not quite up there with the best they've made on Netflix, but certainly worth a watch. More so if you grew up on the film's.
Well, the first film at least.

The nostalgia is brilliant. Totally goes OTT with karate, much like the film's, and you could be forgiven for thinking it is a true alternative world that took a mad tangent during the early 90s when we all had a weird obsession with karate school.

I'm sure you bhoys and ghals wonder why I'm always promoting foreign series - well it's simply that have been through most of the English-speaking ones worth watching so working through Spanish, German and Israeli shows and have to say the standard has been really good. So if you've been reluctant to try them because of the foreign language, you should give some of my recommendations a go - after a while the subtitles just blend.

The latest I just started (about 3 episodes in) is Vis a Vis (aka Locked Up) from Spain.

    https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4524056/?ref_=nm_knf_i1

That stars Maggie Civantos who played Angeles in Cable Girls if any of you watched that
Also recognizable from Money Heist is Alba Flores who played Nairobi and Najwa Nimri, who played Alicia, the (pregnant) lead detective in the last series

It's a bit like Orange is the New Black - set in women's prison. Some very similar characters. and the general theme of the middle class blonde who ends up in jail surrounded by real felons.
And lot of boobies - for those who like that - not that there's anything wrong with that ......... :D
    Maggie's are particularly impressive!
