He's a manager that would have his pick of clubs, he'd be in demand, what on earth would attract him to the spfl ?

PL would offer up a miniscule budget to compete in Europe lol, could you imagine it ?

At that time though after we won the cup and Lenny got the job he didn’t have that many offers after leaving Newcastle. Only China and mid-East for the money.

Offer him a 2 year deal on big money and we spent a decent amount last 2 summers that he could of had. Would of been a good stop gap for Rafa and he would of got us back on track.

Other option at the time would of been Clarke, he knows how to set up a team and get them motivated and we don’t have McBurnie.

I agree mate, but the thing is.. try. Show some ambition. Make an offer, have a conversation with him. Don’t just go to Lennon in the showers because you know you can control him.

We, as fans, have very little visibility over the manager market so it’s hard for us to seriously suggest managers like we do with players. When people say Benitez it’s just a catch-all for ‘ambitious foreign appointment’. Supporters would’ve been happy with a couple of genuine attempts at a Benitez or a coach in the German leagues.

Lawwell saw a chance to get his man back in and took it both hands.

Desmond should be looking at a new manager for this season, and a new CEO for the next financial year.

I think the board like many fans fell into the trap thinking well the huns ain't going to catch us. Even now some are sat waiting for them to collapse.
I thought lenny would have enough to do the 10,after all we have some * good players in our squad and they have to take a fair share of the blame. To many of them are not giving 100% or close to it.

And here comes the Lenny Volunteer Force.

    “we beat Barca”

Nowhere to be seen when we’re getting shagged off Sparta reserves at home but turning up when anyone dare question oor dear leader.

People would rather have Lennon as manager than Celtic be successful. Not even successful, respectable.

He’s destroying us just now and if we don’t change it soon we could be set back years because of him.

Yeah i totally agree, canny see us gettin the likes of Rafa but yer right in the respect that it's all about the Board showing ambition to go out and get their man, sell the club to a high calibre manager, convince them that the job would be good for their career.

We want a manger that we're grateful to have, not a manager who is grateful for the job.

That’s in poor taste but all the comments about wishing he was gone are ok?

You don’t cherry pick matches but you’ll cherry pick posts.

Not as low as bringing up one result 8 years ago as a reason for backing someone clearly out of their depth.

Really struggling to comprehend how he’s still in a job.

His interview after the game yesterday was appalling. No answers. No solutions. Just blamed the players as he has done all season. No tactical insight into what we need to do better to improve.
