As long as it's not Malky Mackay.

Please no. If he were to screw up, people would find a way to bring his leukemia up, just like Lennon's depression. And even those without medical conditions (Larsson) would soon be crucified if results didn't improve. I wish to see our legends spared from acrid bile.

I know. I was only half serious but he spoke well for the game, I think Motherwell away it was and would rather somebody respected with the fans than your malky Mackays etc

No more ex Celtic players. Larsson is a pish manager. Petrov has never managed a team. Why would we even consider them?

The club should have sacked Lennon before the international break and already had a few managers in mind. Obviously that’s asking too much of them, though.

Me too, but managerial experience at a sufficient level must be the deciding factor no. 1. The lowest I will accept with hope in a turnaround this season is Strachan.

    This!

even IF they were to consider Larson (apart from the fact that he’s a failed manager) why on earth would he leave Barcelona when he’s not long in the door as assistant at one of the top 3 teams in the WORLD?

Petrov hasn’t even proven himself as a coach never mind a manager.

I too am getting sick of us “needing” a Celtic-minded manager.

Someone who would command the wage BR got. No cheap options. Someone with instant respect because of what they have achieved in football.

That might mean we have to pay a transfer fee for him too. Leicester paid 9m for BR. Sometimes that's what you have to do if you want a top manager, rather than feeding on scraps.

Don't ask me who that someone is :giggle1:

big name would get the best reaction from players and turn the negativity into positivity surrounding the club but cant see lawell spending the money at this point, though i think it would probably be our best chance at winning this league now

imagine a pochettino till the end of the season it would cost a right few quid and it would be

worth a shot, cause the the players arent playing for lennon for whatever the reason is

Wouldnt tolerate Lawell. Was approached before we appointed Deila. Apparently sat down with Lawell, who tried to dictate terms and tell Keane what he would be getting. Keane walked away.

Thats one game mate. He has had the odd good game for celtic but isnt in any sort of form. He should have bigger impact in games given his quality, especially in the SPL.

Its never going to happen but he knows what he is talking about. He is a hero in kilmarnock and made them a unit and all those players played for him.

You only have to look at how far he brought them from the team they were before.

been off the radar for a while. Cant see it. Always found the way he left swansea so odd. Done so well with them but apprently there was diciplinary issues with the team.
