It will do, although there wasn't any difficult draws really due to seedings

Main thing is we are home. Thats always the number 1 for me with cup draws.

I would play some second string such as Welsh Karamo and Soro

Home draw is the important thing, avoiding the trip up to the highlands. Its been proved in the past any away game against Ross County or Inverness isnt exactly a stroll in the park for us.

If our first team were playing well and were consistent then i would agree. But, (yeah, you knew a but was coming), with our recent performances i would prefer that we played a strong team and if the game is wrapped up by half time then play 3 or 4 fringe players. Apparently some of our first team are still not up to match fitness don't you know

I think this needs to be used to rotate a bit and see what the likes of Turnbull, Soro, hopefully Johnston is fit by then too and get minutes in legs of the likes of Julien, Ajeti and El Hamed that have missed game’s due to injury and COVID. Wouldn’t mind seeing Connell and Harper getting a shot too.

Totally valid point. Still rather be drawn at home though for this one then be up in the highlands.

The team will likely be out of the EL soon and the players have not long had an unprecedented 4 month break (after most of our squad for the last 10 years having had NO break at all bar 3 weeks between May-June)

They’ve yet to string together a run of good performances either. Lot of first team depth and several players need to get up and running for the rest of the season.

Absolutely no justification for sending out a full second string here, for me.

Should be full strength, perhaps with the exception of 1/2 tops.

Ajeti, Jullien, Ntcham off the bench, Is there an ETA when Mikey is back? Either way this will be easy, 5-0 us.

Adding this game to the VST is welcome but it's the least the club can do to be honest. ST holders £600 down and it's becoming increasingly likely that there won't be any fans in stadiums until next season.

Hopefully see some fringe players get a run out. We have been reluctant to do this in cup competition because we have been chasing trebles for 4 consecutive seasons but this isn't sustainable IMO. We need to give more chances to fringe players and youth players to help them develop and the early stages of cup competitions is the perfect opportunity to do this.

Must admit if we don’t get back in this season which looks fairy possible I feel a bit twitchy about having paid a grand for me and my daughter and only saw games on an iPad or through the Xbox. Effectively it’s like paying over £100 a month to watch most of our home games on something not as good as the telly.
