Love comments like this, as if every player is meant to be a mad busy try hard.

The amount of players that make themselves look like they try but couldn’t kick their own *.

As soon as you’ve got players that make it look easy they are “lazy”. Absolute doughnut.

Completely agree. The only time Bitton quits is when the whistle is blown.

Honestly, if we signed Messi, some folk would probably complain that he was warming up in a hat and gloves.

I’ve seen people on here slating Messi as looking lazy for Barca to be fair. Even when he was early 20’s under Pep which is insane:56:

There was a time where I absolutely hated seeing Bitton in the team but for the past 18-24 months he has been brilliant stepped up when needed and never let us down

You’re mixing up being calm and confident on the ball to being lazy, sometimes too calm on the ball yes but you can never say he doesn’t give 100%. Clearly better suited to play centre back with his style as well.

Bitton isn't a lazy player, he just has that laid back attitude about him.

Id still stick with Duffy though, he's an all round better defender in my opinion

I'm brilliant, it's you I worry about if you consider Duffy better option than Bitton!

Duffy has played 96 times in the Premier league and has captained his country. Ill be saving this post of yours for when you apologise when Duffy becomes good

    And?

Have you seen him this season for Celtic? You must be the only one who wants to keep playing him, even while admitting he is not good.
Don't care what he has done in the PL or what he does for his country, I care what he does for Celtic, and so far it is costing us goals, every single game.

If you expect every player to hit the ground running when they come in youre in for some disappointment. Get off his back and give him time.

Going by your claims of captaining Ireland and 96 PL games, and the fact its a loan deal for a 28 year old - kinda expect them to hit the ground running.
Laxalt managed it after being out for 7 months.

I am sure he has been better than he has shown for us, so far, but we do not have time to baby him through a bad patch (3 months of it).

I wouldn’t mind him just running, it’s the hitting the ground I’m * off with.
