Just feel for him and Eddy when asked to play that lone striker role, don't stand a chance, maybe a reasonable tactic in say an away European tie but not domestically. There has to be a second striker, then defenders can be pulled out of position and space created.

It's a tough one because you'd probably say all 4 of our striker's play better with a partner..

 

Its frustrating as * but also understandable that our prospects like Paddy, turnbull etc etc are hardly going to get a look in because of the stature of the season and what's at stake.

Going with the tried and tested makes sense but it hampers our future when the majority of these guys will be away in some capacity in alot of cases at the end of the season, and our prospects might push for a move due too being * off at the lack of football.

 

Aye, we just don't have the personell for the 3 just now, to make the 3-5-2..

When Jullien is fit it becomes more of a viable option. Duffy was brought in to make that system, but wowsers.

 

If we continue with 1 up top I'd maybe loan him out in January, theres a player there and he needs game time.

 

Doesnt help we dont really seem to know how to play that system with any fluidity

 

Just cant see him getting much of a look in the now.

 

The last goal he scored for us he took really well. Gonna be hard for him to develop without regular gametime though. He's possibly suffering from being quite a similar player to Griff.

 

He's a busy wee player. Always making space for himself and looking for the quick pass but, more often than not, we turn attacking into defending by our usual passing back and starting all over again.

 

We could loan him,griff and turnbull and soro out to somewhere and not even notice.

With his pace, aggressiveness and work ethic couldn't he be used as a RW just to try and help out Frimpong with the demands ehen trying to attack down the right?

Christie always want to drift straight into the middle of the park the moment he gets a pass, perhaps Klimala could stay further afield and be told to run behind defenders our wide and cause problems and where needed have guys like Frimpong overlap if Klimala has to hold the ball up.
