More than once post match he's let loose at how we're playing and how we're set-up..

Just looking at his role at the third goal after the first. An absolute disgrace..

Just jogged back when they broke right infront of him..

Probably does say he isn't playing for him..

Tbh he needs to * off away from. Defence, can't play it, can't tackle.

He's only good at getting forward, when playing back there all he does is pass the ball sideways and backwards, he continually passed ball to Bitton everytime.

Up. The field or off it preferably. If not.

I feel for CalMac just now - too many players hiding and abdicating their responsibility to go forward by constantly offloading sideways to him because they know he'll show for it and make a decision.

I’d feel for him a lot more if he’d put in a proper tackle now and then.

I love him as a player, but this notion that he can play at the base of a midfield needs to go. He’s got zero defensive ability.

    You having a giraffe?

He's probably the worst offender at it. Al he does is pass the ball to his cbs.

    Ask yourself why that is...

Could it be because his colleagues offload the ball to him because he has the guts to show for it... and in return they hide? Where else is he going to put it? Back safely, or lump it Route 1 forward?

He was angry in his post match interview - I can see why.

he can get the ball moving quickly infact hes very good at that but hes wasted there

his quick feet and agility skill and attacking talent and shots and goals has proved hes a better attacking mid than a defensive one

but in order to play brown we need mcgregor in there to be browns legs, thats what it seems to me hes doing hes there to help brown and celtic are playing domestically with 2 defensive midfielders and one center forward whose really more like a left winger

Being ruined by a dud manager and coaching set up.

Great way to make him want to stay.

Seems. To be going that way under Lenny, tbh I was never a fan of his until BR came in and then seemed to turn his form around so much. Then nearing end of BR reign started to dip again.

Under a Lenny was poor and then picked up certainly after turn of year, but its full. Circle again.

I do think. Now more than ever he can't play. Next to Brown.

Lennon making him look * is probably Lennon’s biggest achievement as a manager.

We have to judge these players against the better teams, and too many times he is found lacking in the centre midfield role.

iv always maintained his best attributes are going forward, but as an out and out centre mid, he doesnt do it regularly enough for me.

McGregor under a good coach in a good set up is a good midfielder. No doubts. Sometimes a great one, he has shown that in recent years.

The problem is when the going gets tough, he simply folds under pressure. He gets severely overrated on here at times, I genuinely like him a lot but some would have you think he's the Scottish Xavi. He has the ability but just doesn't impose himself on games enough. Just watching the highlights, McGregor was * poor.

    Defensively he's absolutely shocking

The actual Xavi would look * as well if he had to be Scott Brown's carer for 90 minutes. I don't know if he's been told to play like that or just feels he has to but it's * his game up.

The few moments when he does decid to just burst forward and get involved we're up the park and in on goal 7 out of 10 times. Just doesn't happen enough and it should be the managers job to sort that out.

He actually started to play well, moving the ball forward quickly, when Brown went off.
But what a powder puff effort for their 3rd goal.
One thing is crystal clear, him and Brown together is not working.
