I wondered that, but these are players who've won every domestic trophy for years in a row. I just can't see how they're lacking in confidence. I now think that some are over-confident... they think they're better than they are and they've forgotten how to scrap and make things happen.

Yes, they players could play better than what they show today. But it's Lennon who selects this underperforming players, so he has to take some of the blain. He constantly brings on players like Ntcham who play * instead of giving Soro or Turnbull a real church. Again, blame on him.
To the team he should not have lost yet. Maybe that's what the players say publicly, but the way they perform says something else. He doesn't seem to have any influence anymore.
Even if it's the players who are underperforming it's Lennon who fails again and again to set a tactic and a gameplan. A * manager can make a bad squad better. Lennon is obviously not a good manager. He's not even capable to do the basic of his job description which is tactics and gameplan. And if you fail to do the basic task of your job you just have to go. It's as easy as that.
