One really good save, one from an over head kick that was a standard save & one he was lucky that came of the post.

Gordon is a good shot stopper & that about all. Glad he left & it's time to move on & back the 2 keepers we have.

Bet he’s glad it didn’t go to penalties, guy got worse record ever with penalties, he saved 1 for us v beer sheva from about 20 odd and another 1 whole career, when you conceded a penalty when he was in goal just felt like giving them the goal

Craigan was making out he was Buffon. Made a good one off Nisbet with the header but completely spilled an easy one that went on to the post..

They were bigging him up solely because he's left us and we're no settled there but he's a diddy..

I cannot wait to see his face when we spank them..

Absolute * clown we couldn’t get out the door quick enough.

Overstayed his welcome by 2 seasons, the list of his big European * ups would take me 2 days to type up.

Plus he’s a Tory, plus he’s the reason we’ve now got Gerry McCulloch instead of Summer Harl.

I haven’t forgotten the mistakes he made in big games towards the end of his career with us, but he was still a more than capable keeper and was a successful signing for us. Getting shot of him, whilst spending the guts of what will be £8m on a package for Barkas when we could have just kept Gordon , is proving to be a costly mistake right now. I’m still hopeful Barkas comes good for us though.

Disregarding the fact it’s impossible to form a proper opinion on Barkas yet, if we spent 100 million on him it doesn’t factor anything at all on the fact that we got shot of Gordon. A walking disaster for months and months between the sticks.

I'll never understand why people randomly toss in wages and transfer fees in to the total cost of a player, as if the wages aren't paid out on an ongoing basis with every other players.

If we are going to debate the merits of barkas costing a total of £8million over the course of his contract, then we need to acknowledge that Gordon cost at least £6million over his tenure, not accounting for any bonuses or signing on fee that he will have received, twice.

I'd rather have Gordon than Scott Bain. Barkas.......well.......let's just wait and see.

Seen a bit of Craig Gordon history re-writing today.

Hard to know which one was worst...perhaps Inter for me.

Boyata letting that ball travel 80 odd yards as well against Bayern :42:...seen a bit of history rewriting with him as well recently

First choice if between Gordon or Bain, ok Gordon,

But when it comes to wages etc... Bain is a perfectly reasonable second choice keeper, assuming of course guys like Barkas actually come good that is.

Either way, neither Gordon or Bain are long term first choices and we should always be looking to bring in better
