Such mixed feelings about that game.

Shape was a bit better in the first half but even then I think we were still a bit ragged at times. I still felt they were getting into central areas a bit too easily and we didn't force them wide often enough.

Second half was really sloppy. Their full-backs pushed higher and they were moving the ball quicker and stretching us a bit more, and we didn't change it until the damage had already been done. That was really naive on our part, which is weird since both the players and manager are quite experienced now. Was clear Ntcham was toiling and wasn't doing enough defensively and we left it too late.

Would have taken a draw before the game, but given we were 2-0 up at HT it's disappointing, and I think we were lucky not to get punished even more.

Haven't changed my opinion on him tbh, plenty of positives to take from the first half, but when he needed to step up and make the right changes to stem the onslaught of their attacks in the second he was found wanting again.

    Good result 8/10

    Player commitment 9/10

    Game management 0/10

I'm sorry once again Lennon has proven he hasnt a * scooby what to do during a game.. absolutely no idea.. how many * times has he waited until it's too late???

Why wait till we conceded two? When he finally got around to taking Ntcham and Broony off we coped well, so why wait?

Again I'm left baffled by his Subs... great first half followed by utter *...

Everyone could see Ntcham had fallen out the game but refused to make a change until after it was 2-2. Then when he does make the changes, he's being bizarre with them. I mean who in the world was calling for Welsh to come in?

They spent £30 million euros on a forward. That's the type of competition we were up against tonight. They spent BIG during the recent transfer window.

His subs and timing of them are genuinely baffling and it is so frustrating

Aston Villa spent that on a striker as well a couple of months ago.

Just because you spend a lot of money doesn’t mean you’re a top side.

And btw, the forward you speak of is yet to score for them.

So when we get a postive result it's got nothing to do with him, but when negative its all his fault, aye?

2-2 away is an excellent result against the top seeds in the group who are going really well this season.

Come on let's have some balance eh lads. :50:

Money doesn’t make you a top team. They’ve got good players and started the season well but I doubt they keep the pace. They are a feeder club for top teams.

Mate I get what you’re saying but it’s honestly not good enough. We’re just lowering the bar now for Lennon because we’ve been that bad this season.

To see the game that badly managed in the second half removes all praise from the management for me. What’s the point in knocking your pan in to go 2-0 up just to throw it away over easy decisions. We played with 10 men the second half for no reason.

The Celtic manager should be able to manage a football match. This isn’t the first time either. We’re wasting one of our best and most expensive squads on a poor coaching team.

Would have taken the draw before the game, as would everyone else here.
Being 2 up though we threw it away.

I really can't get my head around that Lennon can't see what everyone else does.
Changes needed to be made sooner again, no idea why he leaves it so late.
That second half we were camped in our half just inviting them on to us.

Ntcham should have been off after 5 minutes of the second half!

We looked better after he made the changes but they just came too late....again.

I think you have to give him some credit. The way he would be looking at that change (and the way we should be looking at it imo) is that bringing in Welsh helped stop their momentum and us hand on for a draw.

Sometimes we’re guilty of criticising the manager for making changes that we disagree with, rather than changes that affect the game in a negative sense.

No, it was a good point against a top team. But going from 2-0 up and playing well in the first half to playing * and blowing a lead in the second to finish the game 2-2, stops it being an excellent result.

Would've loved a draw before kick off and it may prove to be a good draw in time, but I personally can't help feeling like it could and should've been 3 points not 1.

You still need to weigh up that we were playing away from home against a team joint top of the Ligue 1 with PSG. You cannot dispute that.

Hes so * passive during games, it was clear as day changes were needed much earlier. What's the point of waiting till we throw away the lead before acting.
