Or better yet why would we want him back? Like chasing up a bird who’s made it clear she’s not interested. Pathetic.

Forster is irrelevant as far as Im concerned, but his vacillation caused this problem. When he finally made his "decision" and with Gordon gone we had limited options left, I dont rate Bain but for me Barkas doesnt look like a 5 mill keeper.

Allegedly fit, on top form and AEK and Greece first choice goalie ?, not convinced.

For the record, he’s second choice Greece keeper. Odysseas of Benfica is first choice and rightly so because having spent time in Portugal and seen him play I’d say he’d slot into most elite european teams out with Liverpool, City and Atletico. Supremely underrated, probably due to his nationality. Anyway, Barkas comes woth good pedigree and you don’t spend 5 million on a keeper if he’s shown nothing to warrant that. Having seen his highlight reels it’s fair to see the guy is a good shot stopper and I’d wager he’s in a bad moment just now as are the whole team. Look at a highlight reel for Frimpong from last year and compare it to his performances this year, are we all calling him a waste of space? No. So give this lad a chance ffs. Hope he was a worldie against the sheep to rub all the Forster Rimmers’ noses right in it.

I really think we need to get behind Barkas and show support, in his hour of need.
    Reckon he will come good.

I’m undecided on this fella. He’s not really made a mistake but he’s not saved a shot that you wouldn’t expect any goalie to. He just in the goal and if the ball is anywhere near the corner of the net it’s a goal.

We all want him to do well, I was hoping he would really hit the ground running, but youre right, he will come good.
Most important position on the field. Clean sheet today and then a run of great performances,

Unfortunately he has not looked any better than Bain, who himself should be nothing more than a good back up keeper for us.

Early games he looked decent at taking a cross and with the ball at his feet, but from day 1 has looked to struggle with shots that extend outwith his body. Even looking at his highlight reels on YouTube, there aren't many examples of saving shots that you wouldnt have expected, his strength on them seemed to be one on ones and closing the angles, given the way we play and that teams rarely get in behind us domestically, this isnt something he should have to do often.

Sadly not seen anything in him, based on the games for us and his highlight reels, to convince me hes got the ability to be the shop stopper we need, I hope I'm proved wrong, however if his performances dont improve its something we need to address in January.

Big loss today in my opinion. One thing he’s consistently shown very well since joining is a willingness and ability to come for crosses, something Bain isn’t strong at and something Aberdeen will no doubt target.

The bhoy doesn't dive. Rightfully dropped today to get him to pull his finger out

Surely he is injured rather then dropped?

    He definitely hasn’t been dropped.

He’ll still have sore baws from Thursday no doubt.

But there were images of him training yesterday, unless he was injured whilst training. Might be just a move to let him get his head right.

I don't think he's bad but he just doesn't inspire confidence at all. I want a big, tall, commanding goalie not a skinny guy who still looks like he's learning the trade.
Forster even at 60k a week would've been the far better deal

You realise Forster turned his nose up at the approaches made by the club in the summer? As far as I’m concerned, we shouldn’t be pandering to the guy if he isn’t jumping at the chance to play for us.

Forster. Chose. Not. To. Come. Here.

Honestly, how many times do people need to be told that before it clicks?

As we chose not to pay his wage, something he more than deserved as our best goalkeeper in more than 25 years.
We hardly made him feel wanted, I don't blame him. Did you think he would come for free?

You’ve just made that up. The deal was agreed, Forster chose not to come. In fact he went as far as ghosting Lennon’s calls.

Clear to see from that garbage today why Barkas might look like he’s * it all the time, what a bomb scare of a defence!
