Some of you older guys will remain but the way he played showing great passing ability , not afraid to have a shot on goal from outside the box and his movement and willingness to always want the ball actually reminded me as an 8 year old in 1982 watching a young 17 year old Paul mcstay coming through the ranks into the first team

Would love to see it, but do not know enough about connell to say for sure. Christie instead will be excellent.

Either way, soro, Turnbull, connell, Christie, McGregor, ntcham, brown, all a talent to some level and really means we should not be so reliant on one player (brown) when they are all off form.

Like to see a player get his chance and you know by their performance right away that he can improve the team.

You normally know right away if a guy has ability and from what I seen of him he looks like the type to control the tempo of the game, his range of passing looks excellent and the fact he scored so many for motherwell tell's us he'll get a few here also.

Refreshing seeing someone who can take a set piece , Christie was getting brutal at them for a while

Early days but guy looks class, has a real confidence on the ball, always looking to make something happen. He's in for a good future with us.

Our business this window so far has been excellent. Strengthened right through the spine of the team..

Turnbull looks ready to make an immediate impact, which is very pleasing.

A LB/LWB or two and we’re good to go.

It was only 45 minutes but that was excellent from Turnbull yesterday. Could be vital off the bench on Thursday if we need a goal and looks ready to start getting eased into the team with some starts as well now.

I felt our midfield looked really well balanced on Saturday when he came on for the first time this season. Brown playing the deeper role with Turnbull going box to box on the right and CalMac on the left. They just all seemed to be able to play to their strengths.

I think he could have one of those seasons that he takes his chances and makes it impossible to leave out.

Two good headers, I mind seeing that when I looked up his stats before he signed.

Turnbull also wins over 2 headers a game, 8x higher than Christie, the 4th highest of a midfielder in the League behind Gogic, O'Hara and Callaghan which is quite weird since hes not that tall and he takes set pieces himself. I thought it might be that Motherwell play much more long balls and all their players do more heading but they don't they actually play the 3rd least, only us and the huns play less long balls.

He's probably very good in the air although never seen him enough to notice lol

Would have been an absolute travesty if we let this guy slip through our fingers. Good work Celtic for coming back and getting the deal done after his injury. I have really high hopes for this guy, cant see him starting v the huns but could easily make his mark on the game from the bench.

He's gonna be our main man in the middle for year's to come..

I'd bring him in every week from now on..

I've backed Ntcham a lot but I've had enough of him. Get Turnbull in..

I think it was a no brainer to play him yesterday. Not like there would be the usual hostile atmosphere plus I think he'd be fine with that regardless.
