And for all those games where klimala or Welsh etc etc sat on the bench when we were 4-0 up and they didn't get on thats why a lot of people give out in those games for days like today when they are * in and they could have had a lot more minutes in their legs

We are, but we won’t be when our whole squad that is attacking minded is managed by a staff that is the quite opposite of it. We must change to a manager suitable to that style, or change players.

    The second option isn’t realistic.

For supposedly being our strongest area of the pitch ours has been abysmal this year, they don’t create anything and they don’t protect the defence either.

We have great success domestically anytime we properly adopt a co-ordinated team press
yet we drop off more often than not, don’t even follow runners let alone adopt any sort of press.

I feared for our midfield today as I thought we would have got pressed but we actually barely did but still insisted on never taking on a man, playing a forward pass and more often than not gave the ball away under no pressure.

We have a lot of players who play Centre mid but this is mistaken for strength there.

id like to see that team, with soro, rogic, rotated around cm/am.
To me that is a solid team built to strengths we have available.

Honestly think a lot of our problems come from persisting with full backs. It worked when we had tierney, a player who could easily get up and down the wing swing a ball in then get back and defend. Get back to playing proper wingers and 2 strikers stop * about

I'm not using it as an excuse. I reckon we probably still would have lost, but you can't deny it made our squad weaker? Are you saying having Elhamed, Bitton, Christie & Eduoard available doesnt increase our chances?

    Bain

    Elhamed
    Duffy
    Jullien

    Frimpong
    Christie
    McGregor
    Turnbull
    Laxalt

    Edouard
    Griffiths

That would be my team from now until January. In January I’d bring in a proper CDM, a mobile CB and a Winger that would give us the option to play 4-2-3-1 / 4-3-3

Pretty simple IMO. Stop doing everything that is not working and stop the shitebag tactics. Honestly today’s attacking plan was long ball and hope Elyounoussi or Frimpong could capitalise on a mistake. Embarrassing as *.

    Stop being a shitebag Lennon.

Stop playing Ntcham. He does not know how to play his position.

Stop playing Elyounoussi in that weird upfront position he’s playing. Let him play a proper position or drop him.

Stop playing only one of your four strikers when you have zero shots on goal. I honestly think at this point the two strikers thing is just a * you to the fans. Pathetic.

Stop making McGregor cover at LB when the wing backs go forward. Either Brown or one of the 3 CBs can cover. McGregor is needed in possession on the final third.

Get Rogic in the team with Edouard and Ajeti/Griffiths.

Tbh I'm the same, decent manager but this job is too big for him right now. That's the problem tho, people want Lenny gone but with no viable alternative. We ain't going out and shelling money on a big name atm. We would probably just be going for a stop gap and I can't see anyone who fits the bill. Lenny might not be ideal and ultimately not the long term solution but right now I think we need to favour continuity over taking a gamble.

So having those players out doesn't effect the capability of our squad? Sorry, I'm confused.

Still a team full of international players with more than enough talent to win against that mob. Adapt and play players to their strengths rather than trying to fit square pegs into round holes. Being the manager of the 9 in a row champions you can’t be a 1 trick pony.
