Drop Dembele and Hazard from being 1st team players and add in Edouard, that makes it 4 out of 12 - a third of our international players and all first teamers out due to this.

I've absolutely no evidence, other than it's the huns, but I would bet all my monies the * have failed to comply with covid testing during the season - they * it at the Hibs friendly and there is no chance in * they haven't fallen foul of having at least one case of this, while every other club seems to be getting something every other week now.

They * the covid test in the summer, they fudge/d their accounts and the SFA/SPFL turn a blind eye, I honestly would not be surprised if the level of competence with this lot is them being ask "do you have any positive cases for covid?" which their answer can surely be "no" if the * dont do testing - complete timmy paranoia at its fullest, but * them, wouldnt be surprised in the slightest.

I would stick money on it that they are up to no good! They will be getting up to all sorts of dirty tricks along with other officials in the game in scotland. Us winning the ten is dooms day secanrio for them! It just wipes there 9 away and it'll never be done again!

Aye I am absolutely proud as * that we have equalled our record, 9iar twice, unbelievable achievements. But the sheer fact the huns can lay claim to 9 league titles in a row record annoy me no end, get the ten and put them right in their * place.
They know this as much as we, that they are * once we hit the ten, quickly after that comes every other "world record" they try to claim and their entire * ethos and mantra is shot to *, all they have left will be hatred and bigotry. They will die for good eventually.

Celtic have demanded their players are properly protected from coronavirus after Hatem Elhamed became the latest big name in Neil Lennon’s squad to test positive for Covid-19.

The Israeli had been self-isolating in his homeland after feeling unwell following a 2-1 loss to Czech Republic on Sunday night – two days after Celtic teammate Nir Bitton went down with the virus.

Both will now miss Saturday’s Old Firm derby along with Ryan Christie, who has been ordered to quarantine as a close contact of Stuart Armstrong.

Celtic talisman Odsonne Edouard posted a positive swab after reporting for duty with France Under-21s last week. The striker is expected back in Glasgow no later than Friday after self-isolating in Paris.

A statement said: “Celtic can confirm that Hatem Elhamed has tested positive for Covid-19 on international duty and is now required to enter a 13-day period of isolation in line with regulations in Israel.

“Our medical staff will maintain constant dialogue with him and will provide all required support.

We are disappointed and frustrated that another player on international duty has tested positive – during an international period that is continuing to present huge challenges for the club.

While FIFA regulations determine that clubs are obliged to release players for international duty, going forward we are sure wider discussions will take place around this hugely important issue. We will monitor these discussions closely.

Record Sport under-stands Celtic’s top brass are bitterly disappointed government health experts have not given Christie the all-clear to face Rangers this weekend – despite the Scotland star recording a string of negative tests since being forced to leave Steve Clarke’s squad.

A club source said: “We’ve been badly affected over the international break and the situation with Ryan is particularly difficult to understand.

“But the team has a big game to focus on this weekend and we have to get on with it.”

    Ronaldo tests positive.

Hopefully he’s high profile enough for the * to realise international football is putting lives and the domestic game at risk.

I believe it's done privately, not the NHS.

Cheers, was just wondering if results could be swept under the carpet or not. Not thinking we would do that

I think there's a follow-up NHS test if first test is positive.

I'm no expert on the ins and outs or legalities but should the government be pushing for this to be on BBC etc. I've already heard of people planning trips to watch the game. We are in a pandemic situation so I'd imagine if they thought it was safer to have the public at home they would have the power to remove licensing issues or whatever.
We pay enough in Scotland for the * they put on up here like England friendlies.

99.5% of Celtic supporters have expressed their overwhelming readiness to get back to Celtic Park, as soon as we are able to do so, through the results of an extensive fan survey completed by the Club.

In the supporter survey, completed by 17,000 season ticket holders, we asked fans to tell us how they felt about potentially returning to Celtic Park to watch matches and to let us know their thoughts on the processes and procedures that we may have to implement in order to ensure supporter safety, in line with Government recommendations.

Celtic has been at the forefront of establishing effective protocols for the safe return of supporters. While understanding that any supporter return will be led by Government, the responses and opinions provided by our season ticket holders will be hugely important in further informing these protocols as we look to work with the relevant authorities to welcome fans safely back to Celtic Park as soon as possible.

A spokesperson for Celtic said: “We would like to sincerely thank our season ticket holders for their fantastic level of engagement in this survey.

“The information will be crucial to us as we look ahead to a safe supporter return to Celtic Park. The survey demonstrates an over-riding willingness of fans to get back to Celtic Park when safe and to adhere to a wide range of safety measures as part of any return.

“Celtic has already worked tirelessly on establishing protocols for the safe return of supporters to Celtic Park. We have submitted detailed proposals to Government in terms of firstly establishing test events and we will continue to work with football’s Joint Response Group and all other relevant authorities as we move forward.

“We fully appreciate a return will be led by wider considerations, however when we are given the green light, then we are ready to go.

“We are grateful for the wonderful support and involvement from our fans. We also understand that many of our fans and indeed all our communities continue to face major challenges against the backdrop of the pandemic - something we do not underestimate.”

Amongst numerous findings, the main Survey highlights are as follows:

    - 99.5% of supporters ready to return but would expect restrictions at the stadium
    - 99% of fans wold complete a COVID-19 health questionnaire prior to entering the stadium
    - 86% of supporters would still attend even if not allocated their regular seat
    - 80% of supporters would still attend even if another family member with a season ticket could not
    - 83% have access to a printer to print their own ticket
    - 75% would travel by private car to the stadium
    - 87% expressed excitement and optimism at returning to attend live matches

Supporters would feel most reassured by Hand Sanitising Stations, one way systems, Face Masks and Temperature Checks.

Through analysis of all survey results, the Club, along with engagement specialists Velocity Worldwide, have established the following conclusions on sentiment and “supporter journey”.

How come I just read Tierney is potentially available for Arsenal on Saturday vs Man City but Christie is definitely out of ours vs them?

I think it's more that Arsenal are 'hoping' he will be made available, talks this afternoon apparently.

No way Scottish authorities will back down on this though. Would be a major precedent set if they do.
