I've not tried that yet. I'll seek it out.

Have you tried some of the recent beers added to the supermarkets? There is a few really good ones of late. Some have been disappointing and sad to see some of the names connected.

Vocation and Sure shot done a collab called 15 Mile Round Trip which is really good at £3.5

I got a can of Verdant 'Now We Are here' last week for a tenner.
    Hops: Citra Galaxy and Chinook

The 15 mile trip uses Citra Galaxy and Mosaic. Finding it mental that quality of beers in the supermarkets right now, especially those with Galaxy hops. For the oney I'd take the Vocation every time. The verdant wasn't twice as good for over twice the price.

Other than that the Ikat by Salt is nice and the Pale Ale by Evil Twin is really nice too as a fridge filler.

15 Mile round trip was alright.

Ikat is one of the best beers in the supermarket. It is up there with a lot of more expensive beers.

Northern Monk v Lervig Northern Star from Morrisons, and London beer factory Zia from Tesco are my favourites. All would fit a good bottle shop.

I only tired the Evil Twin Gose. It was a bit weird. It's Brewdog brewing the Evil Twin beers in Tesco.

Totally agree about Ikat. Cracking beer, would recommend that to anyone on here.

I never went near the Northern Monk as its a Porter. Dark beers aren't for me but my brothers keen. He's mad for their neanut better, Jelly stout though...

Yeah, Gose isn't for me either but the Pale was magic. Evil Twin is a funny one. From what i gather, the dude who ran Evil Twin took nothing to do with these releases and he's focusing on Evil Twin NYC - sure they always "gypsy" brewed anyway so made sense to use Brewdog a facilities due to the capacity they can out out and direct links to Tesco.

What are you liking just now away from the supermarkets?

I get the impression that not many people on here drink craft beer. It'd be interesting to get their take on some of the new tastes.

I really didn't like Northern Monk peanut butter and jelly. Everyone likes something different with their beer.

The barrel ages series, and all stouts, by Pohjala recently have been top notch.

Ya can't beat a night with Great guinness, few bulmers (mangers) jd and coke and a few sambuos. Has to be a good pub with good guinness because if it ain't, they can be * rotten. Can ruin a night if the first few pints aren't great.
