Me too. We might have given Milan first refusal on Ajer in the future or something, I suppose.

Knocking back bids from Milan, while we snag their players.
    Crazy days.

Looked really poor in the highlights v Serbia.

Lost his man on a number of occasions including their 1st goal. Totally wrong side of his marker.

An Ajer special for the 2nd. Gets too tight to his man, slow on the turn, then a big superman last ditch slide attempt.

    Classy finish though

Yup just watched the highlights there and he was very poor defensively for both goals IMO.

First goal he was on the wrong side of his man and he dived in too quickly in the build up to the second goal.

Good player with great potential but still has a lot to learn/improve on. Far from the finished article.

A bit harsh.. But yes, any decent players or coaches will see these mistakes he keeps making and they will be savvy enough to exploit them. Another that has believed his hype too much.

He’s played well for us over the last few games.

The Scots amongst us should be grateful of the fact he’s just stopped us having to watch the likes of McKenna, Cooper and Gallagher go up against Haaland. He should be admired, not criticised :56:

Not really. Bothered how he performed for Norway, hope he isn't too down with next week coming up.

Our best defender and possibly player so far this season.

Reported to be one of the for the off players, but has not looked like he hasn't wanted to be here.

I'm just tired of it all,its the same every season...we lose or someone * up and we come out with,we will learn from this or they will learn from this. And its season after season.
How many times has lenny made the mistake of playing someone out of place. How many lessons are needed.
    Rant over.:fear:

It’s very worrying how he continually gets too close to attackers. Gets rolled constantly.

For a big fella he’s a bit of a pushover. Bags of potential but needs to learn from his mistakes.

Should be playing on the right of the 3.
Elhamed or Bitton on the left.

That's well wide of the mark, he's a much better player than that. He isn't the complete defender by a long way but he is still a good player

KRISTOFFER AJER has assured Celtic he's in safe hands with the Norway squad.

Neil Lennon could be without four players for Saturday's Old Firm match after an international break Covid-19 crisis.

Odsonne Edouard, Nir Bitton, Hatem Abd Elhamed all tested positive - with Ryan Christie forced to isolate.

That led to Celtic calling for crunch talks between Fifa and clubs ahead of the next break in November.

But Ajer - who insists he's settled at Celtic after a summer of speculation - has no concerns over his own health.

He said: "There have been some cases with Celtic players.

But all protocols and everything have been carried out in a brilliant way here with the Norway national team.

"We have had full control. Everyone has worn a face mask and follows the guidelines that have come from Uefa.

So it has not been a problem to be here."

Ajer will start for Norway against Northern Ireland in the Nations League tomorrow before returning to Glasgow.

He has just over 18 months left on his Celtic deal and admits he is aware of interest from elsewhere.

The Norwegian recently switched agents and AC Milan sporting director Paolo Maldini confirmed he's on their radar.

But Ajer insists he is in no rush to leave Parkhead and says he won't push for a move in January.

He said: "There has been a lot of interest, but I am very happy to be in Celtic.

They have given me over 150 games and backed me.

"It is a club that means a lot to a lot of people, and I am happy to be there.

"My contract lasts another year and a half, and I look forward to playing there this season."
