    He was tested in France by the French, where’s the guidance that states he’d be subject to British or Scottish isolation rules when he flys back next Tuesday?

    Not seen it anywhere, but did it mention if he was asymptomatic or what?

    I see the FAI also had issues, although Duffy returned a negative.

    I read the other day that RB Salzburg refused to release any players for international duty for these games. It was in relation to 3 positive tests in the squad, off the back of the European game against Tel Aviv who had 10 players unavailable due to positive tests.

    Not sure of the future international schedule, but I wouldn't be letting any player out of the country.

    Sorry if that didn't make sense.

    My point was that unlike a criminal offence where whatever happens is up to the place it happens in that is not going to be the same for regulations relating to being able to enter a country or what happens when you arrive when you have an infectious disease. Determining if you are still infectious will be up to the country on arrival.

    I'd be surprised if he is let on a plane before it is all sorted out regardless.

    Hopefully clearer but possibly not!

    If France has a 7 day isolation period and footballers are exempt from the 14 day quarantine then common sense would suggest he returns a negative test next Tuesday and flys home free to return to training? Nah?

    I'd strongly bet against and I don't bet!

    You have to remember he has actually tested positive. So not just self-isolating because he has come into contact with someone who has been contact traced. Probably makes it worse he's tested regularly as there is little doubt he's still in the early stages too.

    We also don't know how he'll fare so probably first thing is to make sure he is OK. He's young and fit so shouldn't be a problem but you never know.

    might explain why he has looked off form recently.

    On the plus side, if he is ruled out for the 17th then we can focus on Griff and a strike partner for that game. Ajeti hopefully will be fit and Klimala certainly has the physical attributes for this game

    Thinking back.. when Griff was sidelined for a Hundead game Dembele came in a blew them away
    and then when Dembele was sidelined it was French Eddy who came in and blew them away

    The time is perfect for Ajeti to do the exact same.
