Tempo is pretty slow. Always got so much time in games down there, no pressing at all.

Arsenal tried playing it out from the back at Anfield last season and Liverpool played the high press and won by a few goals and tonight it's the same tactics and could be heading for a similar result unless Arteta changes something

So should this be a new thread mods?

Anyway, realised today how Liverpool got £7m for kent, they’re * hot negotiators, must be, they’ve just sold brewster, a 20 year old with little first team fitba for £23m, AND they’ve included a buy back option at the 3 year point (just as he’s fully grown with 3 years top flight fitba behind him) AND if they don’t fancy the buy back they get 15% of any fee, what a deal for Liverpool, Liverpool have a sell on percentage from the kent deal but it’s interesting they didn’t bother with a buy back option for hillbilly kent

Buzzing for Leeds/City tonight, don’t see how it can’t be an incredible game with the way they’ll both set up.

Leeds are a breath of fresh air in the Prem, it’s constant pressing and pressure out of possession and constant setting traps and trying to create in possession. If only more managers took that sort of approach.

Mane and Thiago both have Covid. Big losses for Liverpool.

Man City look in the mood early in this game. Could see them giving Leeds a doing.

Mendy is utter *. Looked amazing when he first arrived and then after the injury he got, just lost it. Guy has zero brains.
Foden is pish as well. City look so vulnerable and weak-minded.

Mind we were linked with Ayling. He’d of been a good option at RB.

First half was a bit of an anticlimax but this second half has been class, exactly as billed.
