A step in the right direction today a lot to like about the performance, our midfield dominated the game and made Hibs midfield non existent.

I thought McGregor was excellent, Brown with the exception of some attempted forward passes that were miles off, was more influential and Turnbull slotting in gave the midfield a good balance. Christie before going of was having a similar game to others this season, done some good things in the build up to first two goals but was infuriating when hitting shots from 35 yards whilst off balance with near zero chance of scoring.

Frimpong was excellent and if not for some good defending/ poor end product would have had a few assists and perhaps a goal or two as well. His pace and directness is one of our main attacking weapons. Taylor had a better game too but still feel another option with more pace and threat would improve us.

Ajeti was having a fairly quiet game then took his goal well, it’s a shame he had to go off. Ely showed some class touches and took his goal well, he provided some of the creativity we have been lacking and I feel there is more to come until he hits top form. Eddy just doesn’t look himself the now even when he got in typical Eddy situations, squaring up defenders he kept losing the ball.

At the back took a bit of time to settle but done fine. Duffy needs to stick to his no nonsense defending, Biton strolled it and Ajer bar a couple of moments was pretty good.

Barkas didn’t have a save to make.

Haven’t seen a second of the match today but by all accounts we played well. Glad to hear it.

Agreed. There was a free kick in the first half that Christie took. With McClaren standing right there they move past the sprayed line and kept creeping forward as Christie took the kick which hit the wall. Total joke.

Well that was much more like it. Very assured and dominant performance against an in form Hibernians side. Highlights for me were another much improved defensive display. Biton in particular stood out. Midfield controlled the game and our movement in the final third was so much quicker and more threatening then recent games. Exciting second half run out for Turnbull as well who looked very good.
