You don't seriously believe Griffiths is as good a player as Édouard.

He's been a great goalscorer over the years but he's not on Eddie's level.

If Eddie left tomorrow he could pick his club, if Griff left tomorrow it would be for another SPFL club or English Lower League side. That's the levels.

He didn't from March to June Jeannie, that's why he was left home from France and our plans of continuing the 3-5-2 were affected.

If he is focused then he's a great player to have in the squad but there's no doubt his failure to stick to the fitness plan laid out by the club didn't help us start this season strongly.

A fully firing Griff is a real asset..

But come on, Edouard is levels above.

If he was giving it his all he wouldnt have missed every game so far this season. Let's be honest.

Exactly, he is the best we have for corners/freekicks. Would give the opposition something else to think about

I haven't given up faith in him either but truthfully delivering a spate of goals over a 2 - 3 month period in a season isn't good enough for a club like Celtic.

We need consistency and 100% graft at all times, we pay him well enough for that.

Yes he has some issues just now and hasn't been up to it. But when Griff is at himself I believe in him.

I agree with that and I've called him out on his lack of application in recent weeks.

I think in time this is what we'll see. He sat up a peach on his first go v Ross County that Duffy didn't quite catch right.

We dont often agree but Griffiths is massively underrated by some of the Celtic support. Great goal scorer and very good all round player, the sooner he's back challenging for a place in the starting 11 the better

A fit focused Griff guarantees goals. He’s a human being with human flaws. Think we lose sight of the pressure and focus these guys are under. Yes they are very well paid but it comes at a price especially in a divided society like Scotland. Hope he is back in and around the team soon.

That's true from what little I've seen from his Motherwell days but as it stands I'd prefer Griff to be on the set deliveries.

Hopefully we can see both on the pitch making an impact soon, the more competition/options the better
